The government claiming that there is no client list and that Epstein didn’t blackmail people (which I don’t believe) doesn’t mean there was no evidence against Maxwell.

Epstein still trafficked and sexually assaulted a multitude of women, including minors, and GH helped him do it. That’s what she was found guilty of and there was a ton of evidence to that effect. The government is just claiming that 1) there isn’t a list Epstein kept of who all was involved and 2) he didn’t do it for blackmail purposes.

How can it be trafficking without profiting, whether that be direct payment or blackmail?

There has always been confusion about this. There are definitely Epstein files, which include documents like flight records of people like Trump. An actual list of wrongdoers that Epstein kept? The public hasn't seen any evidence that it exists, and it's possible that it never existed, but people sure talked about it like it existed.

Honestly, IDK what to think. No government official ever said there was an Epstein client list. People like Patel and Bonghino expressed hope that the list existed, but they didn't make a claim that it did, and ChatGPT is not turning up any official other than Bondi.

It's possible that the list never existed and Pam Bondi is guilty of doing the post-truth Trump world thing, which is to talk big about something you don't know anything about, and then you find out later you were completely out of your depth. "Yeah, I know everything about the Epstein list. In fact, it's on my desk right now." and then she goes to learn about it and finds out it doesn't exist. When truth doesn't matter, this is how leaders behave.

Who said there was no profiting? Epstein procured girls for himself and others, paying girls to “service” him and people to send them to him. I guess others paid him to get girls for them.

The government is claiming that he didn’t do it to create blackmail material, presumably because he and his associates just enjoyed doing it. Which I don’t believe.
