Unless I'm reading this wrong this is saying Epstein's death would actually be removing possible investigative/prosecutorial roadblocks down the road, not making them more difficult. If that's indeed correct I don't think that'd be helping the Clintons. (or whoever else may be involved in all this whatever has supposedly been happening)

Trey Gowdy also said earlier that Epstein would more than likely not testify. It would not have been in his best interest to do so.

Yes, this is a situation where you want to appoint an independent special counsel since the DOJ has an interest here. The prison was under DOJ control. Add on top of that Epstein's connection to powerful people in both parties.

If it comes down to that, I'd appoint Trey Gowdy.
