Marra's ruling was overturned on a technicality.

The appeals court majority opinion states that because prosecutors never actually filed federal charges against Epstein, there were no longer charges from which the government could withhold information from the victims under the technical interpretation of the CVRA's text.

Now, if you don't think a prosecutor should discuss a plea deal with victims of sexual abuse? Well, that says a lot about you as a person. Your concern is purely tribal politics. Not victims.

It still isn't working ... but I found the appeals court ruling .... and it was overturned on a technicality. A prosecutor is bound by law to discuss a plea deal with victims of sexual abuse. Acosta skated only because he had never actually filed the charges .... which is also suspicious. It does not appear that Acosta ever had any intention of going to trial .... but why?

So no law was broken... technically....is the gross and unethical but not illegal..

Basically ... that is what the appeals court determined ...

.... but prosecutors are bound by the law to discuss plea deals with victims of sexual abuse. Especially considering how many victims Epstein had, it is incredible that he did not discuss the plea deal with any of them before entering into it.

I agree it unethical...but so are the actions of judges who overstep...but we live in a society of innocent till proven guilty..that didn't happen so stating he committed a crime it an outright lie.
