He is getting a lot of sympathy on twitter from fellow teammates. Hope I'm wrong but I suspect it's injury related as he had to leave the game last night.

Anybody know anything?

This is the only one I found that mentioned an injury, but there are a lot of well wishes. Whatever it may be, I feel bad for him.

Breaks my heart for something like this to happen to a senior, what a great season #6 was having. Godspeed young man.

Medical Hardship Requirements:

To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria:

The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.

The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.

The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.

The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.

Yep, it really does. He's waited for his time, put in all those summers and he gets out there and had been making the most of it....and then this. Really is sad.

Feel for him and his family, I really do.

I have him at 28% but math is not my strong suit, have you figured it yet OT?

Of course he's a senior, probably close to graduating, might just want to move on I guess.

I hate that for Moberg. I'm not sure we can replace what he brought to the table this year.

Thats about what I have. Not sure how rain outs or games not played may effect the numbers. I assume its based on the pre-set schedule.

If he can get a med red-shirt and wants to come back I'd love to see him next year. If he graduates and decides to move on I totally support that decision as well. Wish him the best on whatever happens.

I agree at the plate...just guessing on my part, maybe Leno or Pruett...Pruett was in the lead off role last year if memory serves. Hall could move up to the 1 spot maybe...guess we'll find out soon enough, #8 team in the country coming' to town and all...geesh, when are we gonna catch a break.

Defensively I think Pruett gets his shot (again) at 2nd. Leno has hit pretty well as a DH and could also step in defensively in the infield.

Yeah, I think they move Hall up to leadoff and Pruitt to 2nd to move Hall over...hitting in front of Senzell will be a plus for Pruitt if he's in that spot.

too bad we can't watch the replay....:)

Yeah...I reckon I'm gonna call it a day on that... a week of being negative is about all I can take, not really my strong suit either.

I have given Mr. Rice's reply some thought and will post in that thread later, other than that I'm moving on.

JRog could also move into 1 or 2...Hall and Jrog at 1 and 2 kinda seems good now that I think about it...

I think it will be one of those two as well. We are now down Serrano, Moberg, and Westphal. All 3 are extremely valuable pieces. Hopefully the guys rally and stay hot at the plate.

that makes sense too...CDS has his work cut out for him with pitching rotations and now this.

Agree 31...Both Serrano and Westphal might be in line for Sunday, for the second weekend in a row, that is TBA and will depend on what happens on Friday and Saturday...not ideal.

Yeah OT, I bet there was some real hand wringing going on over at the complex today.

We just need to do our small part and keep it positive, we're fixing to go through the grinder.

GBO!!!

What is the injury, how'd it happen? I missed the last game and this was a very bad surprise to me today. Hate it for Jeff.
