Wahhhh!!! i know some of you saw that yesterday after the race where JG shoved MK....with his helmet on no less.....what a joke.

not that he shouldn't have been mad, or that it wasn't MK's fault...but gimmie a break....the golden boy is all the sudden mr. tough guy?

I want to see a fisticufs in the pits like like the Allison boys used to do it!!!!

Gordon doesn't wanna mess with another driver fairly... kinda like on the track, he can give it, but can't take it, as shown yesterday.

What would have been funny is if Martin Truex would have come up behind Gordon at about the same time he was pushing on MK! He would of ran!!!!!

i almost felt bad for Truex...he gets moved by Gordon, and when he tried to get him back, Tony Stewart said enough of this and bumped him again to get'em out of the way.....talk about learning the hard way!!!

I didn't see the race, and I actually like Gordon, but when I read about JG picking a fight with his helmet and HANS device still strapped on, the picture in my head made me chuckle.

if your imagination made you laugh, you should have seen it live....he didn't even raise the visor for goodness sakes!!!! Hans buckles flying around, gloves still on, and gesturing to MK as if to say "come get some".

it really was funny.

maybe funnier than that was the complete and utter shock on MK's face when this short guy with a helmet on charged him. I think MK, whom i have no opnion on one way or another, was flabbergasted that he went after him.... :birgits_giggle:

I caught a short interview where Kenseth said he approached Gordon to apologize, could explain why he was a little shocked at the aggression. Did'nt JG do the exact same maneuver on the 1 car Truex? They all need to calm down and remember that rubbins racing especially in short tracks.

Gordon's take on the Truex incident was that he checked up in front of him when he shouldn't have, that when you know you have that many cars behind you, you can't check up like that in the middle of the turn....

i guess truex should have run in to the guy in front of him to appease jeff huh?

But truthfully, i do think i remember JG saying that was his fault, but he backed that up with the comments above.....so as to say yeah, it was my fault, but not really....? laughable.

To defend Gordon somewhat on the Truex issue, Truex was a lap car that was generally just in the way after every caution whenever he got up to try and get his lap back. It cracked me up that Truex went back out on the track and was trying to be somebody, and he gets wrecked again, lol.

i was sitting front row in the overflow right near the start/finish and saw the happen.

first of all i gotta say that gordon wrecked at least 2 maybe even 3 ppl yesterday. then at the end kenseth barely gets a piece of him and gordon goes around. boo hoo.

now the look on kenseth's face was classic. he looked liked gordon was the hulk or something. i think kenseth is a p**** but to back down from jeffy is just ridiculous. neither of these guys can be over 5'5". they are shrimps.

but good race overall. i enjoyed eating rubber all day sitting so close.

i didnt get to watch it on t.v. though. what was wrong with jr"s car????

I see your point CBC, but to spin someout to win a race and to spin someone out with half a lap to go just to finish one spot ahead is dirty IMO,of course I don't expect anyone that hates Gordon as much as people on this board do to be open-minded as to what my point is here. Now, if it was Little E, Stewart,Mark Martin, someone that can actually race that has helped make Nascar so popular, I probably would have thought that is just solid racing between great racers when Gordon was spun out on the last race.

Bush making snow angel gestures after winning, I bet you liked seeing him do that along with his win! :biggrin2:

screw kurt bitch. i hate him and his brother. but he did have the best car.

and i dont disagree with the wrecking ppl at bristol. i just say quit ur crying about it. especially when he did it all race.

hell dale sr. won many of races at bristol using this. the man in front should block better or get the hell out of the way when he knows the man behind is faster.

it is bristol baby. quit crying.

and matt kenseth is afraid of the dark. he sleeps with a night light. :eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol:

I don't care if Truex was 50 laps down. Jeffy flat out took him out for no reason. He didn't even give Truex a chance to get going. At least give the guy a chance to restart and get up to speed and then let you by.

Jeffy wrecks more cars than any driver in Nascar today. It was about time someone did the same to him. The cheers from the crowd when Kenseth spun Jeffy out was unbelievable. I didn't realize out much Jeffy is hated until then. Kenseth did what most of the drivers want to do. Good for him! :clapping:

Watching Jeffy try to be all big and bad was quite comical. He only made a fool out of himself. Hopefully Nascar will punish him for it. If it had been Stewart that did that, Nascar and DW (The Hendrick shill) would want him banned from Nascar.

So you think Jeffy was dirty when he moved Rusty out of the way on two different occasions to win at Bristol huh? Or is it only dirty when wonder boy is on the recieving end?

Maybe no one agrees but I think if anyone shouldve been shoved or punched it shouldve been the 88 car Jarrett. Hes the one who was way back in the pack and wouldnt let kenseth past him causing a bottleneck and gordon caught kenseth and clipped him.

Nope, I don't think Jarrett is to blame at all. A 4 time champion should know better than that. Maybe Jeffy is just a washed up hack and he needs to retire.

i'm a DJ fan, and as a former champion himself, he should have gotten out of the way....he wouldn't have lost any positions....i understand why he didn't budge, he was still on the lead lap, and i would have no problem with what he did if Kenseth had just put a car a lap down that was right behind him, or if Jarrett was racing someone in front of him for a position, but neither was the case....

DJ my man, still love ya, but he really should have moved over....that was the catalyst for all the stuff that happened in the final laps.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree. This is racing, not "move over and let someone by." It reminds me of something that Jeffy Gordon said one time after a race...."they wouldn't let me pass out there today."
