Ok I am not going to give you just opinion. First, is third down effiency has consistenly been around 40ish%.
Second, he had offenses when at WKU of 6th, 3rd, 2nd in years 2014-2016.
Third, he has Coach P influences... Along with bill belichick, Bill Walsh... Etc.

From a philosophy standpoint he has some nice wrinkles in the screen game... I believe Calloway, Tyler Byrd, and Johnson will all benefit...
I would expect to start recruiting guys like north that we had from a physicality standpoint.... Juan Jennings would shine in this offense because of his mentality...

We will have to sure up the run game... Their are things he did well there but he will have to have some different power schemes thrown in that is less misdirection and more smashmouth... Misdirection is pretty much how this offense works that will either work the first year or be vastly modified in his second year... He needs to hire a great DC to give his offense in his first year time to jell together.

This personnel will work but we need to get better from a TE position... If Kelly stays he will reap the benefits of this offense because of his work in space... My advice to him learn to run routes and he will be a weapon on every down in this offense.

One thing that should impress people is what he had to do to make Purdue better. He does not have the personnel to run his O. He had to adapt and adjust. He had to find a way to optimize what he had. Very few coaches can do that... and they do really well when they have the right resources.

Tennessee will soon announce the hiring of Purdue coach Jeff Brohm after going 6-6 this year. Brohm was 30-10 at Western Kentucky. Buyout is $5 million, drops to $4 million Dec 5. Still owes Purdue about $750k for leaving WKY.

He is a good man with morals. But if looking for morals I would talk to the preacher man at church. I could care less about whose good and whose not. If hired, he will never beat Georgia, Florida, or Alabama. This is a given. He's just not on their level. End of story. If UT can accept them beating us every year then I will have to accept that fact and move on.

Stipulate he hires Tee and Chief

You can't tell an incoming HC who is coordinators have to be. And Tee won't make a lateral move, especially after presumably wanting the HC job but not being considered. And I would prefer to keep Shoop and give him 100% control of the defense than hire Chavis back.

Cue the overreaching useless stats to justify supporting the vols next year. Maybe 2021 is the year we finally do something different...

If he is the man named, I'll get behind him. Not on my short list but he appears solid. The man desrves his chance. Time to come back together folks. Maybe this time in 2018 we are all celbrating.
