Jayson Swain asking former Vols to call into his show this morning

I highly doubt any of them rejected a HC offer from Tennessee, much less all 3.

Even as toxic as TN appears right now, this a huge step up from their current jobs and who knows whether they'll ever get another job opportunity like this.

Donte Stallworth tweeted out last night that there was a deal offered to Currie that would've brought Lane back with Tee as OC and Steele as DC and he rejected it.

Kiffin has stated 3 times Currie has not called him -- implying that he would have a serious conversation if he was called.

Sorry. But I have to ask

Is Swain pushing the race issue as why Tee hasn’t been contacted?

No. He said it makes you wonder, but he didn’t think that was the case. He stated that Hue Jackson was the coach of the Browns, so it wouldn’t seem to be a race problem for the Haslams

Word is Manning vetoed Tee Martin, and there are some valid points to make. Tee is a 2nd year OC. HC is a big step up with a lot more to deal with. Tee is a legend at UT, and I would hate to see him come to Knoxville before he's ready and fail. I do think he would be an awesome recruiter and it could work or he could be awesome as Kiffin's OC, but this is political now. Haslam is fighting for dominance of the program. Nothing else matters. This is the real source of the problem
