Jay had serious top end speed but Cobb looked superior in pretty much all else. (and was plenty fast himself)

Jay turning up the field verse Bama was something else. I'm not sure anyone could have caught him

Cobb all day. Jay Graham stepped up big a few times against Bama and Ohio State which makes him a VOL legend and rightfully so, but Cobb was the better back hands down. Graham also the better O lines to run behind .... Cobb not so much.

Cobb, but it’s close. Neither as good as Chuck Webb, best RB in TN history.

Cobb, though to be fair to Graham the o-line play was subpar for his final year at Tennessee in 96.

Cobb and it isn’t close. He had a combination of size, speed, and vision that was Bo-like. If he’d stayed clean and injury-free, he’s in Canton. And might’ve had a Heisman.
