As I watched some of the old games from this past season on both the SEC Network and EPSN U, Every time he made a catch I was so impressed by his ability.

I am not even counting the UF or UGA game "Hail Mary" and "Bobble catch"

Just noticed how aggressive he was when catching those jump balls, and throwing down a DB in the TAMU game (almost getting into a fight he was so intense). He is not to be messed with. I think if we have a decent run game and a decent 2nd option at WR, JJ WILL catch for 1,000 yards and about 10 TD's. He WILL have a better season the Malone did last year. Just watching him on the field he reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald or Dez Bryant NOT in all around talent BUT in the ability to go up and get those 50/50 balls or to grab them out of DB's hands to steal a TD.

Just excited to see him play. Let's pray we have a decent QB who can throw those 50/50 balls bette than Dobby Hobbs.

Plays with so much passion. Always fights for extra yards, great blocker, not afraid to go over the middle, always falls forward...

He's only going to get better, too. Been playing receiver for less than 2 years. He didn't move to receiver until 10 days into fall camp the year before last.

He's a special football player, makes you wonder where a competitor like him would have been in the QB competition had he never moved to receiver. Glad he did, though!

Solid SEC player, I'd say the best offensive weapon on UT's team and among the best WR's in the SEC.

Same here. His temperament, competitiveness,, size, and even the way he puts his foot in the ground and changes direction is reminiscent. Both safeties on the other side too.

Jennings belongs on defense - with the attitude that every pass thrown is to him. He's certainly demonstrated the ability to go up in a crowd and come out with the ball. An interception is worth way more than a simple completion.

He plays football the way Draymond Green plays basketball. The only thing I worry about with him is him getting ejected.

Reminds me of Hines Ward.I haven't seen a receiver strike fear in an opponent blocking like he does.I promise you DBs on the other team know where 15 is on the field.

When he laid out that DT on kamara's TD run against UGA... absolutely dirty

When you call a hit dirty, they carries the general implication that the hit was against the rules. Not in that case. That hit was definitely within the established rules.

I believe it more accurate to say it was filthy. That implies Jennings hit him hard enough to cause said opponent to lose control of bodily functions, and possibly necessitate an unplanned trip to the dressing room for a uniform change, a visit from his Mommy, or both.

Just as many see Barnett as the MVP in his class, Jennings is making a case for the same honor in his.

Before it is all said and done, I think Jennings will make us think Ward was the Avon lady. He will be something special if he avoids any further encounters with law enforcement.

I've always said that. He is an NFL safety, but I know we can't move him at this point, not this year at least. Honestly, I don't remember a player at UT who could probably play any position on the field, WR, QB, Safety, heck, I honestly believe if you asked him to play LB he could do it. He's just a max effort guy on every play, and such an intense competitor. It would probably be better for him if after this year he was moved to safety to prepare for the NFL. He has always reminded me of Deon Grant, with even a little more attitude. Can you imagine him patrolling the middle of the field on Defense? I can assure you opposing WRs would think twice about coming across the middle! ha
