Jennings is the most physical, focused and passionate player at least on the offense. Brings it every. Single. Game.

His determination is clearly why we beat the dogs and primarily why we beat the lizards. Those performances have made him a legend.

If he is not on this team we may very well be 3-5.

Why in the heck we cant get him the ball more boggles the mind.

Jennings is a ball player, he has that mentality of "I am gonna whip your azz" every play. He wants to physically dominate the man in front of him every play. He could have played on the 98 team, has the same mentality of those players on that team.

The reason he doesn't get more touches is because he is not soft enough for this finesse bs offense and we have a swim coach for an offensive coordinator.

I wish we could clone him 10 times and make that the offense. We know he can play QB, with his attitude he could plat the O line too:rock2:

all played winning football last night. Am I missing anyone?

LB,DB play was horrendous. Special teams (other than one return) was grass cutter level. There was a penalty on seemingly every punt. Not to mention the "covering" of the ball on the goal line.

Not sure why we would not give Dormady a try at QB. Dobbs panicked last night.

We can't stop the run or pass in a 4-2 so maybe it is time to change that to where we can at least stop one or the other.

He was last guy off the field last night and didn't look happy at all. I love his passion and to see that he cares.

He and Barnett are not only my favorite Vols, if we had 11 of them on both sides of the ball we would be undefeated. Coaching want to is sorely lacking.

Barnett would definitely be the guy to clone for defense.

For the record, Doug Mathews agrees with you. Said a lot of stuff this morning about the coaching staff, but what seemed to make him most incredulous was why in the world we wait until late in the game to get JJ the ball. Said he couldn't believe Jones hasn't fixed that at this point.

Told a story of Johnny Majors walking into the offensive meeting room when he was there back in the 1980s, and said "this won't take long. 'Player X' better get the ball st least 15 times this week...figure it out, because if he doesn't, and we don't win, I'm firing every damn one of you". Haha.

He then said if he was Jones, that we would do the same regarding Jennings. Said he'd go to Offensive Room this week and tell Debord and company, "if Jauan Jennings doesn't touch the ball 10 times this week, I'm gonna fire somebody". And btw, Kippy Brown agreed. Nippy said you say "either do this and figure it out, or I'll get somebody who will".

Bottom line, Doug said JJ is our toughest offensive player, is a playmaker and he needs to get the ball to help us win and that it's essentially coaching malpractice how they've not used him thus far.
