Jason Allen finally recorded his first NFL tackle this past weekend. He had two solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the Dolphins loss to the Packers.

I am glad to see that, I have been wondering how he was doing. One of UTs all time great players and person. :good!:

The fans and talk show hosts down here are already calling Allen a bust.

Why so? He hasn't really gotten much of a chance to play in games, has he?
That's their point. If a guy you draft in the first round takes over a quarter of the season to get on the field for a bad team, that doesn't bode well. I think they are overreacting. Let's see how he's playing at he end of the season.

Yeah, he's definitely still capable of having a good season... as long as he gets the opportunity.

let's also not forget that the Dolphins right now are a bad team...they got bigger issues than Allen right now.

he is also recovering from a broken leg. that and the dolphins might be a bad team but they aren't a bad defensive team, they just have problems at quarterback, which kills nfl teams.
