I don't understand why we just can't admit Giles is a heck of a recruit. He would have helped us if he had come here, but he didn't. So let's wish him much luck and MOVE ON....

you're apparently not aware that he tested 98th percentile in school and that he's positive his IQ is higher than mine.

I'll give him the IQ part, but 98th percentile in high school is damn near unfathomable. Now this little doozy comes along. I'm starting to be skeptical.

what's up with the coaching defections ihateorange?

seems like no one thinks it is good to be on sos's staff these days.

if I'm a ut recruiter going up against the cocks i'd be sure the kids knew... and were aware of spurrier's proximity to retirement. it isn't just reaves and the s&c coach. why would akid wamt to play @usce when coaches are seeing the handwriting on the wall?

usce has nothing else program related that compares well... tradition, facilities, fanbase, etc all favor ut.

It's not that theyre seeing the handwriting on the wall they're just flat out getting offers they can't refuse...Reaves went to UT to coach with his kin and receive a pay raise, smith got a pay raise, hunt got fired because he sucked, cooper got upgraded to secondary coach at LSU, Gillespie got a better offer to go to Oklahoma State.

I feel better about the guys we have now anyway.

lets talk about Marlon Brown!!! Any new info on where he might be going? I really hope he goes to UT. I hope hes not another Patrick Turner (#1 WR in TN and went out of state) we really need to get this guy he could be a playmaker for us next year

We were all so sad when Jarvis wasn't coming. Good things happen to those who wait. I gladly trade in a Jarvis for a Bryce.
