Nope. It was not double coverage prior to the throw.
The only thing that matters is the coverage when the ball gets to the receiver, so yea it was double coverage. It's the quarterbacks job to read the defense and predict if the receiver will be open when the ball gets there. Great catch by Callaway as he high pointed the ball. I'm happy that QD feels comfortable enough to throw that one up for Callaway and let him go catch it, but Dormady shouldn't get any credit for that pass.
I wanna see Dormady take the next step and throw his receivers open. As of right now, he's about on the same level of Dobbs as a passer.
