Jarnell Stokes projected in first round per Chad Ford

I see no signs of slipping, he's in his prime, arguably having his best season yet.

Jordan and Kobe both were around 34-35 when they started slowing down, Lebron has 5 more years before he reaches that age.

The problem is Wades health, when he finally breaks down the Heat become LBJs Cavs. I think LBJ is pretty conscious of that, if Miami doesn't make a move I honestly think he bolts. I think Bosh leaves as well, I think he misses being "the guy" as he has said as much. I do agree LBJ isn't slowing down for a handful of years though.

As the heat are showing this year they don't have to go all out for 82 games. Win enough to get a decent seed, which in the east isn't very hard, and play ball come the playoffs.

Look at how Wade has performed in these playoffs, still playing at such a high level.

I agree 100%. If you can groom Lamb to give you 13-15 off the bench, and Adams starts giving you 10-10-2 (which will happen eventually) it's not that bad of a trade. When Adams replaces Perk and it's Russ, new SG, KD, Serge, and Adams starting, with Reg, Lamb, PJ3, and Nick off the bench, I really like that team.
Forgot that okc got the 12th pick past year from Houston for the Harden trade...also they got the 21st pick from Dallas in that trade. So in the long term getting Lamb, Adams, and hopefully a Shabazz Napier/TJ Warren etc. won't all that bad for Harden since like y'all said was going to he gone anyways.

I think Reggie will be worth a lot when and if it comes time to trade him. I doubt the can afford him. Presti did a good job finding him in the late 1st round. Now I hope they can get a decent pg this year with one of their two 1st round picks. Like I said Shabazz would be nice or that kid from Louisiana I think his name is Elfrid Payton?

You don't care for the pro's? Why not? It's the best of the best playing and giving you more of your money's worth as a viewer. I've heard a few reason's why some in the south don't like the pro's and are ALL about amatuer sports, but they are all lame. This is the only region that thinks like that and it's pretty comical to those outside it. Alabama has what, 100 NC now? Nobody cares.

Seems like you are hinting around at something here big fella, but you just don't have the stones to say it! Need to get anything off your chest?

When an NBA player reaches 31 yrs old or older there is usually some slipping back to the pack. Right now Lebron is the greatest player in the NBA if he drops any at all then the next round of superstar can pass him.

You are wrong about Jordan and Kobe....Both definitely started to slip. Jordan transformed the style of player he was to maintain his greatness....probably the only player to ever do that to the extent Jordan did. At the age of 31, Kobe went to Europe to get experimental shots into his knees to try to help him stay dominant. He was still a great basketball player but no longer the greatest player at that time.

Lebron will definitely stay good for a few more yrs but if he drops back just a bit the next great players team may be ready to pass him by as champion.

MJ developed that ridiculous turn around fadeaway to prolong his career, Kobe worked on that too. Lebron should continue to work on his post game and the turn around to allow him to dominate for a couple extra years.

I think Stokes would be a great fit with the Heat, he could just slide in a full Haslem's role as he ages out. Good fit for both parties.

Sounds more like wishful thinking on your part than anything

Any and all doubts that anyone has about Stokes and his ability to play in the NBA should see exhibit A: Joel Anthony

That guy has been in the NBA for like 8 years and he is absolutely terrible lol.

And then KD will takeover the spot :)

Nah.....it doesnt really matter to me bc by the time the Sixers are ready to compete for championships he will definitely be on the decline. It happens to all players with Jordan being the exception bc he changed styles.

LBJ is a smart guy, I don't think he's dumb enough to think Wade can play like this for 4 more years. This isn't wishful thinking either, I hope LBJ resigns with the Heat. If he doesn't, he's going to join another star and he might win 4 more.

Anthony can defend. That's the difference.

So Stokes projects into 1st round.....what does Lebron, Durant, Kevin Love, Kobe have to do with that? This has officially become the worst thread ever

That's all you can do if you want to post here because either threads get side tracked or you'll be talking about Brandon Lopez these days.

If we are not careful Lopez will reach Rod Wilkes status. I hope Rod does not read this.
