Jarnell Stokes projected in first round per Chad Ford

He's an around the rim guy. If he can shoot from the outside he'll have to prove that.

4th best shooting big in the combine, ahead of bigs who were pegged as having good perimeter games. i.e Johnny O'Bryant & Isaiah Austin. The Stokes we saw his freshman year has laid dormant , until now it seems

Lol. Love isn't top 5 in the west.

LOL! Love is top 5 overall in the NBA and the stats show it. If the Spurs really want a PF replacement for Timmy, they will find a way to get Love. If they don't, someone else will. Drafting Stokes will be a HUGE waste of time unless its understood that he will develop for 4-5 years. Even then I want a 6'10, 6'11 PF. Not someone who has to put shoes on to be 6'8. You do realize there are many SF in the NBA who are 6'8 right? Magic Johnson was a 6'8 PG for Pete's sake.

the spurs like those guys but they have to be able to shoot from atleast 10 ft out

Deal killer. Now, if he could rebound like Rodman, play with that same intensity on defense...yes....there's alway's a home for a guy like that. Did any of you watch the 30 for 30 on the Detroit Bad Boys? The reason Adrian Dantley had to take a hike was because Dennis Rodman brought so much to the table defensively. Daly loved him. He took minutes from Dantley, Detroit traded for Mark Aguirre to be rid of Dantley.

Yes it's probably racist that I knock Love for being a terrible defender, injury proned, not being a leader, and not making his teammates better. I hate white people, myself included. Smh Or it could be that I look at his game objectively.

lol! Hey BadJerry, you really think Love couldn't guard you or score like 200 points on you? Seriously? Remove your head from your arse BadJerry, and you might want to reconsider whether you're bad or not.

Stokes will get some rebounds--but he's likely to be a bench player with limited minutes, IMO, unless he can show that he can shoot the ball from, say, 14 feet in and score enough to justify more than second-team playing time.

Bingo! In other words he wont play in the NBA.

You're right, he isn't a good defender but he's ok. And that would be injury prone, not proned. But now it gets better. He leads but you cant turn chicken **** into chicken salad. You may want to wake up and take a look at his stats and remember the sorry team he plays for. He'll leave Minnesota for the same reason Garnett did....they suck sack. And he'll thrive where he lands at 25 years of age.

He's a terrible defender. His own teammate said he isn't a leader, but you probably know more about his leadership abilities than his teammate. Plenty of guys put up great stats on bad teams. I think Love is really really good, but he isn't a guy you build a franchise around.

Congrats on using the dumbest argument on the internet. Obviously only NBA players can critique players. I guess only politicians should be able to vote too.

Had to respond to my post twice? Yes that's exactly what i said, "I would destroy Kevin Love one on one" Say it with ya chest tough guy.

He's just mad cause he tried to make my comments some racial agenda...except I'm white. Can't fix stupid my friend.

Oh, and I'm so sure that CM 'held him back'. Kept him from being what he could be. If the "Stokes we saw his Fr year" was so great, how is it he improved on all numbers from that point til now? Are you unable to read and gather info on the net?

Reggie just hasn't gotten consistent minutes. His 2 high minute season's 26 & 24, he got 11.5 & 11 respectively. Consistently get 7-9 on 18-20 mpg. He's a fantastic rebounder.

And yes Go Thunder! Lol

Screw the Thunder, go San Antonio for #5. Screw everything about the dang Thunder.

Whoa! hold the phone....you are going to believe Ricky Rubio? I hope he gets left there to rot. He will be left there to rot on the vine because Love will be leaving.

When it comes to his 15 foot shot, Cuonzo said he held Stokes back and Stokes also said it. The type of player Stokes was as a freshman was a lot different than Stokes as a Sophmore and Junior. He went from a face up player to a back to the basket guy. Good news for Stokes is he is pretty good at both.

It's called "not complaining and going to work regardless of your bad fortune", could've been a 20+ ppg scorer if he developed on what he was from FR year rather than Zo parking him on the low block for the rest of his career. a 6'9" forward isn't supposed to live under the basket....and to be put in that situation and produce how he did is impressive

I was just about to say this. At least he developed another facet of his game...now, can he dig deep and discover his true game after two years of it being taken away?

I like K Love and his rebounding abilities but he can't stay healthy for anything and has never lead his team to the playoffs. Bad team or not. Al Jefferson lead the Bobcats his first year on the team to the playoffs and they are as bad as you can be.

Lol the Eastern conference is terrible..

So many good college players don't make good pros and some avg college players make better pros. Just a different game. I don't care for pro.

You don't care for the pro's? Why not? It's the best of the best playing and giving you more of your money's worth as a viewer. I've heard a few reason's why some in the south don't like the pro's and are ALL about amatuer sports, but they are all lame. This is the only region that thinks like that and it's pretty comical to those outside it. Alabama has what, 100 NC now? Nobody cares.

Nobody cares? Is that why they bring in hundreds of millions per yer? And the SEC in the billions when it comes to contracts?
