Jarnell Stokes projected in first round per Chad Ford

Stokes measured 6 foot 7 without shoes 6 foot 8.5 with at the combine. A little taller than i thought

I'm an NBA fan. Don't know if you can see them, but I actually have both the Heat and Thunder emblems under my SN right now.

I've had that Miami emblem for a while only because LeBron is my favorite player. I usually use 2 NBA emblems during playoffs: either the teams I like, or the teams I want to see in the championship series (which is the case this year). Before, I've used Chicago (Derrick Rose fan), Golden State (Curry fan), and Denver (when Carmelo played with them).

Go Sixers

Agreed but there are REAL Heat fans...

Been a fan since the days of Mourning, Hardaway, Mashburn...
And only true Heat fans remember some folks like Duane Causewell, Mark Strickland, Ike Austin, Harold Jamison, Ernest Brown, Wang Zhi-Zhi, amongst others.

So yeah, bandwagoners are all over BUT real fans do exist...

And Rony Seikley, Rory Sparrow, Pat Cummings, Billy Thompson, Glen Rice, John Crotty I even go back futher when Heat 1st came into the league

Don't know what that proves....I can name most/all of those players and I hate the heat.

They have said they won't trade him, evidently they are pretty dumb.

I wonder who is more frustrated. Love because of Minnesota's losing...or Minnesota because Love is injured and out every other season, including missing a season breaking his hand doing knuckle push ups on his previously broken hand. He has been in the league 6 seasons and has missed over 20 games in 3 of those seasons, including an 18 game showing last year.

With Love I think Minnesota has a solid line up.

PG - Rubio
SG - Martin
SF - Brewer
PF - Love
C - Dieng / Peckovic

If Love is a "super star" he should be able to get this team to the playoffs.

I agree, but he thinks he is. Minnesota has built a solid roster around him, and he can't take them to the next level. Super Stars take talented rosters to the playoffs.

I agree, Most people think he is. Don't get me wrong I like him, and think he's tough, but to me he's a great number 2.

Love is a great #1 option to me based on the numbers he put up this season. The T'Wolves problem is....their defense is terrible, from Rubio all the way to Pekovic, just can't get a stop

lol @ thinking a team in the West, with Rubio, Martin and Brewer 1-3 should be a playoff team..

I'm not saying he can't score. I'm just saying if I'm building a team it isn't going to be focused around him. He doesn't make his teammates better, is a turrible defender, and doesn't seem like much of a leader. Jmo

Don't forget that he has had a substantial injury in 3 of his 6 seasons in the league. Hard to build a team around a young guy that misses 20+ games each every other season.

Stokes will get some rebounds--but he's likely to be a bench player with limited minutes, IMO, unless he can show that he can shoot the ball from, say, 14 feet in and score enough to justify more than second-team playing time.

I'm still waiting for Stokes to score on that throw-in against Michigan--oh, that's right, that was a really dumb decision by our late, not-so-great coach.

Love is a white Moses Malone but with a 3 point shot. He is most certainly a Superstar. He's just stuck in Minnesota, where stars waste years of their primes. See, KG
