Is this the dude that was on twitter a few days ago raising a stink because about a dozen season tickets being available on the 45 yd line somehow proved TN fans weren't bought in and were weak minded?

Rubbish! The Vols are the favorite college team in Nashville by a wide margin. That # might indeed be 50%. But, if so, all the other teams add up to the other half. Vandy with 20%; Bama with 15%; a few scattered Kentucky, Auburn, Georgia, etc.

Many bandwagon fans who jump around to whoever is hot. So, the Vols are about to get a bunch of new fans.

Do you live in nashville? Im in nashville every day there's no way there are more vandy than Alabama fans. No way. Probably 3 times as many alabama fans

There are more Vol fans in Nashville than there are Vandy fans in the universe. Take away the bandwagon Bama fans and they are not such a much either

This new show on 102.5 is up against 104.5 in the same time slot. The 104.5 show is among the top in the nation in numbers. Now, 94.9 is airing Paul Finebaum's show at an earlier time. Also, during this time of day.

They will get crushed and shut down quickly. No one is going to listen to this elementary crap for too long.

I feel sorry for Floyd Reese. He's a nice respectable guy having to work with this little immature weasel.

1/2 of Nashville are not Tennesseans, unfortunately...much like Atlanta, many are not from Georgia.....so it goes

Personally I have never heard an ounce of UGA bashing in my 4 years living in Atlanta, every UGA player and coach is practically the second coming according to the radio hosts here.

Interesting topic for me as I am about to relocate to Nashville to take a position. I went down and looked at a house last week, and a neighbor had a Georgia Helmet displayed on his front stoop. I actually stopped and talked to him as he was out weedeating his yard. He was very nice and pointed out the Tennessee fans on the srteet.

Made me wonder what station and shows I should tune into. I always listen to sports talk on my radio now. Any advice?

104.5 is sports talk all the time in Nashville and surrounding areas.

UT owns the entire state. Dominant all the way to Jackson. We're even the majority in Shelby County, but only due to a huge amount of fracturing with people scattered to a ton of schools. Memphis sports radio would make you think otherwise, but it's the truth. Vols definitely dominate in Nashville.

I think we tend to just notice opponent's logos more.

This is probably true. Nothing makes me see red more than seeing Florida and Bama logos on license plates constantly.

Nothing like listening ole Frank Wycheck in the morning and Blaine Bishop in the afternoon :)

Don't waste time listening to Nashville sports radio, it's the worst in the country. Thought it might improve when Plaster left but apparently was wrong.

Couldn't possibly disagree more. Most of 104.5 is very good and, as such, has some of the highest ratings in the country.

Yeah, I really like The Zone. Almost all the time, anyway, the crew on from 3 to 6 pm sometimes forget sports is the topic, and sit around gossiping about TV shows, but usually it's quality all day long. :)

Agree JP. WakeUp Zone is excellent as is Midday 180 IMO. Stopped listening to 3HL because of what you said and Blaine's high pitched voice when he argues a point of gets excited about anything. Haha. Just can't take it.

I've lived in Memphis, Jackson, Knoxville and now Nashville. It's Nashville hands down by a good bit IMO.
