I know this has been touched on in a few threads but what are the chances of Jaquez Smith moving to LB if we go to a 3-4? Would anyone want to get hit by this guy with a full head of steam?

GBO!

If Jaq can play with discipline he will be an absolute terror on the outside. Hes built for it, and I've always thought that.

Potentially, he just may be too big for LB. Not sure if he would be fast enough either

A lot will depend on how ready McCullers is to play. In the 3-4 you can't have 250 pd. ends. Actually Bohannon is a good OLB in the 3-4 as well. Sentimore and Couch are ends in the 3-4 as well as Walls. So if you have McCullers, Sentimore and Couch in the 3, and Jacques, Lathers, Johnson and Maggit as your LBs. That is one solid 7 right there.

I'm sure CSS will be evaluating to see if the roster is better suited for 3-4 or 4-3.

I would love to see jacques play in a role similar to what demarcus ware does for the cowboys. I think he would thrive if he was a stand up rusher as opposed to having his hand on the ground, and I bet he would have some nice coverage skills and would be a nice match up on tight ends.

100%
But noone would be getting hit by him with a full head of steam. He will be an OLB and playing on the line of scrimmage, not alot different from playing a 5 tech DE.

Same. Ever since seeing that pic of him at a H.S. camp, hunched over I've thought he looks like a LB.
