I love fans that find solice in bringing up something somewhere else because something bad happened to their team. It does not make it any better, nor does solve the problem. These players at all schools are no different then any student. They have choices they have to make and sometimes they are the wrong choice. Just because a player where one jersey does not put him above another player. A crime is a crime no matter where it took place or by who.

An example has to be made. Guilty or not, all 3 shouldn't even sniff the field until 2010...if ever again. I know we love our football, but these young men need to be shown that there are consequences for their actions. I'm a prison counselor and see every single day what happens when people never had to deal w/ consequences for their actions. This is no longer about football. It's about fixing lives and teaching real lessons.

If these 3 get kicked off the team, where will they likely transfer to next season? Will they be eligible to play right away???

Dude...Seriously, you really believe any school would want convicted armed robbers on their team?...The only thing they will be doing in the next few years is trying to hold on to the soap...The football careers of these young men are most certainly over.

My friend in the know told me.....

Her bail was set at 100K more than theirs because the police want her to tell them exactly everything that happened, when and where.

They are going to crack her down.

There is no way anything can come out to cover any of these 3. Jackson was present, he's involved. If they somehow avoid prison, because armed robbery will 100% land you there, it would be beyond embarassing to allow any of them to stay on the team

These guys know what could happen if they got caught. I feel sorry for the Seniors that keep talking about how CLK has their back and would do anything for them. Now they have to sit and watch their coach take all of this abuse from the media.

On a side note I hope they make the right choice and just let them go. You can never defend keeping them. I'm sure this staff can find their replacements....quickly!

The police don't set bail, the judge does. More likely her bail is higher due to the additional drug charges against her.

I'm sorry -- i misspoke. The DA asked the judge for higher bail for her and that request was granted. You're right, she might have some other record, or perhaps it was just the alleged items she had with her. Either way, they are going to ask her to testify about who held he weapon, when and where.

Either way, this is so incredibly tragic. I'm still sick over it.

I agree character is important, but I'm not sure whom you are referring to when you say "that is how it once was".
Are you referring to the group of guys that killed two people while under the influence (one of which got another dui later) or the one that produced 20 children out of wedlock or the one that had enough cocaine to get half of a state high? If you are talking further back maybe that is true and they where all saints and had great "character"

Go to knoxnews website and watch the video of the guys they held up. I am not saying anyone is innocent but something does not add up. One guy keeps laughing and wont look at the camera and is joking and saying that I knew something like this would happen in knoxville. they also said that they didnt want to press charges. Hopefully we will have more answers about this soon. Just watch it and see what you think.

looks like they reduced JJ's bond and then released him AND they reduced her bond.... Perhaps they are getting some good information on this.

Great news. Now let's get this RESOLVED so we can go to Oxford for a game...
