I love fans that find solice in bringing up something somewhere else because something bad happened to their team. It does not make it any better, nor does solve the problem. These players at all schools are no different then any student. They have choices they have to make and sometimes they are the wrong choice. Just because a player where one jersey does not put him above another player. A crime is a crime no matter where it took place or by who.

I'm waiting to hear facts and hoping its all a big mistake, but if true it is inexcusable and all three need to be gone.

Throwing away potential millions in the NFL for the $20 out of some kid's wallet. Simply stupid.

I think that if they are guilty, there is no way that any of them should be allowed to play football for UT. Underage drinking or smoking pot is one thing (neither uncommon for college students), armed-robbery is a whole other ball of wax. Really so unfortunate, but I would rather lose games and have a clean program than have things like this hang over the program as it has for the last decade.

Every program will have issues, but how those issues are dealt with define the programs. It will be interesting to see how the team responds with a big game this weekend.

TW - I think this was brought up, I know I brought it up because a moronic Bama fan (Bear315) stated it would destroy our recruiting and I pointed out that your situation did not exactly destroy your recruiting.

Let's not get the cart before the horse. Quite a few years back when I was an assistant for a college basketball team... we were returning from a game in Kentucky. While stopped at a convenience store, a few local "rednecks" started making racial comments at some of our players which resulted in a verbal altercation... the locals went to their car and pulled out a gun as the basketball players all scrambled to get back into the team van and took off. The lady working at the convenience store called the police, but instead of telling them who really had the gun, she stated that the black basketball players in the **** College van had a gun.

RE: The current incident... I haven't read anything that says there were other witnesses other than the 3 youngsters in the car. Therefore, we are only getting one side of the story. Let's see what the accused have to say before passing judgement. However, I still don't think they should have been out at 2 am.

There should definitely be surveillance cameras showing the pumps. It was almost certainly caught on tape. So at least we shouldnt have to go by any second hand information. If the tapes caught it we will know exactly what actually happened.

The tapes may show them talking/arguing, but won't give any details into what was actually said.

I know this won't be popular but this is exactly why you keep your mouth shut about other teams and there discipline issues. Every team is going to go through it regardless of how well behaved you think your players are, they are still kids and kids make mistakes. Some mistakes are bigger than others. Even as an opposing fan, I wish no ill will on these kids and hopefully they can get their lives turned around if they are in fact guilty. It is a damn shame to waste all of that talent so hopefully they will figure it out in the end and not end up like so many other kids in this kind of situation.

I find it humorous that some of you are saying, "If found guilty, CLK needs to kick them off the team". If found guilty, which all initial signs point to a gigantic YES...CLK will have no choice, yes or no, in the matter. Armed Roberry??? Are you kidding....they won't have to worry about getting kicked out of school, they will have to worry about which Federal Prison they will inhabit.

Good job idiots...that a way to take a giant piss on your future!

Nukese was just homesick. Hes from Pahokee. Hes going to the Pokee. He was just a few letters off. give him a break. I am sure that Al Sharpton can turn this into it being Kiffin's fault somehow. Pretty sure it will come out that he was homesick and just needed that father figure so he had to act out to get attention. I mean 100K fans in Neyland all yelling NUUUUUUKKKKKEEEEEEE when you return a kick is apparently not good enough.
