Janzen Jackson, Nukeese Richardson arrested

Chris Lowe on ESPN2 reporting Jackson MAY not have been involved but UT trying to get to the bottom of things.

Also, im glad to see he also went out on a limb and said, "none of the three will be playing this weekend". What does an SEC blogger get paid to do again?

From what I've read, I don't know if Jackson gets kicked off the team. He seems to be the one that didn't threaten anyone and said that they needed to leave. Suspension for him yes, but I don't know about being kicked off the team. I know Kiffin will get all the facts first and do the right thing. If he was more involved, he's gotta go too.

We need some seniors like Dan Williams and Vlad Richard to step up and promise an arse whoopin to any player that gets out of line and brings a negative light to this program.

This is the first 3 arrests under Kiffin and I hope the last, but Urban has had many more so I am not sure why you are bragging. We will beat you on the field next year and you guys can continue to win the race with thugs on the streets.

Blah blah blah... You now have ZERO room to speak, since you people were the ones who seemed to think that coaches could control their players 24/7. Blah blah blah Florida thugs. Blah blah blah Miami thugs. Blah blah blah blah blah. What is it now, the quantity or quality of the crimes? In one day, you beat the dog crap out of the SEC. You win!

Note that I was joking in my post, but in all seriousness, didn't blame your knothead of a head coach for the armed robbery committed by his players. It's just hilarious that, as usual, Lane opened his mouth just this week and compared his team to Florida along the lines of keeping kids out of trouble, and what do you know? His boys did a number on him, didn't they? Now that's what I call great timing! I didn't believe in karma before, but if anyone pays attention to Kiffin, it seems that every time that he opens his big, fat, mouth, his own foot flies into it.

Now, you get a taste of the medicine that you and your head coach have dealt out with regards to the teams that they recruit against, and no amount of honey or sugar is going to cover up that taste. Enjoy.

He took the credit, and now he can take the blame. I wouldn't have held him accountable, and still don't, but he ran his mouth, again, because he can't keep it shut. I guess that's one bit of propaganda that he'll have to strike from his recruiting play list now. Lucky for the SEC, most UT fans are too daft to be embarrassed. He'll just keep running it like he did at Oakland, until you people come to your senses and run him out of town.

As for beating us on the field next year, pardon us for not quaking in our shoes at your prediction. Talk is cheap. Your coach's track record is cheap. Most intelligent people put more weight on your head coach's track record rather than the bravado of message board junkies.

Now I'll say it once again: It's SAD and TRAGIC that kids who are as blessed as these kids are, would throw their blessings away in a moment of stupidity. It's also a symptom of a lazy mind, if one thinks that a coaching staff can control their entire football team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's not Kiffin's fault that these kids did what they did. Kiffin didn't commit the crime. Kiffin can't follow each member of his football team everywhere that they go, and he can't hire people on a one-to-one basis to tail them. Period. End of story.

these are just more of "Fulmer's Felonious Flunkies" got tons of talent and limited sense!! Hopefully when we get a full roster of "Kiffin's Kids" they can be more accountable.

"Kiffin's KLEAN Kids vs Fulmer's FELONIOUS Flunkies" 1 Decade of TN Football ...uugghh

Still Love my Vols - GO VOLS Beat 'dem Rebels !!

I am in no way blaming Kiffin, but all three of these guys are Kiffin recruits.

UT beats Florida next year in Knoxville---mark it down! Florida will be way down without Tebow and UT will be loaded.

UT 37 Fla 17

This is LIL WAYNES fault

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but if it's not then this is an ignorant thing to say.

I love Lil Wayne and you know how many times I've been charged with armed robbery? Zero.

If I had to bet I would say that NuKeese is a bad apple and he played an intricate part in Janzen's involvement. Not to say that Janzen didn't choose to do his role in this, but I'm sure NuKeese was a very negative influence.

NuKeese definitely needs to be gone. Obviously he thinks he is above the team and that he can do what he wants and everyone else should cater to him. The team will only get better by dropping him.

Just 1/2 more scholarships we get to use on kids who want to come in and work hard. IMO.

You better believe that Kiffin and Company will use this as a rallying point for this weekends game. Going into an enviroment where Coach O is "hated" and with this development, a "us against the world" mentality.

Kiffin started this precedent when he actively recruited CONVICTED RAPIST Daniel Hood. Six years ago a boy named Daniel Hood raped and assaulted his 14- year-old cousin, with the help of an accomplice, but due to his age he was tried as a minor. He received no jail time, and there was little retribution for the victim. “Daniel Hood stood in his bedroom on Aug. 11, 2003, and watched as his 17-year-old friend, Robert Sanico, rape a 14-year-old girl. The girl was sodomized with a foreign object, while her body lay helplessly wrapped in duct tape. To compound the matter, Hood helped wrap her in the duct tape” (CNN, 2003).

In fact, he's not the only member of the team with a record at the University of Tennessee. A second recruit, Dwayne "Deejay" Hunter, just had a court hearing for allegedly assaulting his 17-year-old girlfriend after their prom, which is the second assault accusation of that sort with the same girlfriend. This young man, who also plays good defense, is probably one of the most respected and looked up to young men on our team. However, he was arrested for violating the terms of his bond from an incident in which he shot a 15-year-old in the face twice with a gun from a vehicle

Tennessee football players have been in at least 20 incidents involving shoplifting, assault, gun charges, motor vehicle citations, disturbing the peace, failing drug tests and sexual assault”(USA Today, 2009).The school has devoted resources and considerable effort to the issue of student-athlete conduct.
At least three full-time employees of the football program have duties that include, steering players from trouble. How many employees are there to steer regular students from trouble? On top of the precautions that the football program enlists to keep the players out of trouble, a full-time police officer from the Knoxville Police Department has been assigned to act as liaison between the Tennessee football players and the police department and to counsel players.

Seems Kiffin is intent on building the new Tennessee Football empire on thugs, convicted rapist, armed robbers and felons. What a grand reputation and example for this school. Everyone looks the other way and acts surprised when yet another 3 team members commit attempted robbery. With Kiffin I think this is the tip of the iceburg............and everyone looks away because this team generates so much cash!!! Karma comes full circle.............I don't think Tennessee will be any good until the coach and his staff reward upstanding players and stop rewarding criminals in their quest to be the best..........

That's a lot of words to look like an idiot.

Perhaps Marlon Brown's Grandmother was right in saying "God doesn't want Marlon to go to UT".

I am just sick at my stomach about this...

Only 1 thing can happen -- everybody involved is GONE.

{press conference}
Coach Kiffin: NAME1, NAME2 and NAME3 are dismissed from the team and surrender their scholarships.

Thanks for coming to the press conference.

Have we found out if Janzen was there at the robbery, or just picked up afterwards?

Fail....This is the first incident and run in with the law that Kiffin's kids have had and people like you are ready to fire him now....I guess if Phil was here this kind of BS wouldn't happen:crazy:

"we" would be very naive to think this is the 1st time these guys have done this. there are definitely teammates who new this kinda stuff has been goin on. somewhere along the line someone has to be a better friend to some of these idiots and try to at least let them know what theyre involved in is dead wrong and gonna get them locked up or killed.

these 3 idiots are lucky they only got arrested, because they could have been killed. Imagine Walkin up on the wrong car full of kids with a f'n BB gun. the lead story would have been 3 Tennessee football players killed .

This is seriously HORRIBLE news.

This messes up a LOT of things and nothing good can come out of this.

I'm at a loss for words. I'm embarrassed for the team and the program, and I'm pissed, of course.

This is definitely not the news I wanted to wake up to

So then, thanks for taking half of your team off our hands?! Right Big Dan? How many guys arrested under Meyer's tenure? I can handle one or two a year from dumb guys. The difference will be in how it's handled. Meyer: Investigation until end of season and suspended for first game of next year. OH, and make the guys who were robbed whole, so pay them back what they are owed....nothing! Kiffin: There's the door, don't let it hit you Nuke, it will be the quickest move you've made all season. Go back to FL, where you were raised and do it there.

Way to be Big Dan. Just showing how worried about Kiff you guys are.
Scoreboard, A**bag-will u guys ever beat us again? How long has it been anyway? R u missing Phil yet?

Nice first post Simonsez. Seems you have found Vol religion! Quoting CNN reveals all we need to know. Why not quote Dan Rather while you're at it. And, I think it's iceberg, not burg. Maybe you meant the 'hood'! Who rewards criminals? Other than our federal government, I'd say Meyer is at the top of the list. Your numbers from UT arrests is from the story about Fulmer's regime. This makes 1 for Kiffin's tenure. You'll see how he handles it and be amazed how our coach follows through on his promises. Be safe Simonsez, you may get Nuked!

clearly this is Meyer's fault. last week when Nu'Keese was "calling around", he was really talking to CUM. obviously CUM told Nuke to buy a pellet gun and get a couple of his buddies and go smear Tennessee's name.

clearly a conspiracy.
