I say, Kick all three out for good and ask the NCAA to put a sanction on them not allowing them to play for another school. You cant even be a part of something like this, this is bad stuff. Armed robbery?! really?! That's some bad stuff. It's just stupid to ruin such a great opportunity. Plus, it shows how much they don't care about this university because they are representatives of it, and obviously dont care.

Then Drug Test the rest of the team, cause it sounds like these guys were smoking too, and penalize everyone that fails maybe 3 game suspension.

If we lose some games so be it but these kids need to understand that these actions are not ok at this school, in this city, or in this state. Kiffin needs to do the right thing and make an example out of these characters to make sure the team doesnt start slippin.

Kiffin needs to show em the door. I know that they all three have great potential especially Jackson and Richardson but we can't do this same mess we did with fulmer with a slap on the wrist. Discipline is the foundation of a football team, and we gotta have it. These kids knew what was expected of them when they signed with the university failure to meet those expectations should mean being expelled from the team. Plus I think the court of law will take care of that for kiffin anyway. With those charges there could be some serious time.

This is earth shattering...I am pretty upset...it couldn't have happened to a worse group of players Freshman who have their whole careers ahead of them...all I have to say is thank god Bryce wasn't involved.

This is the story the Vol and Kiffin haters were dreaming of. They already fell flat on their face when it came to predictions of the "beatdowns" we were to receive this year. This will be a media field day. Kiffin needs to act swiftly and I think he will.

The guy reporting it kind of had a smile on his face and pretty much implied that CLK was a liar because of what he said earlier this week about his kids not getting into any trouble since he has got here....I'm sure Lane knew that they were going to go out and try to rob somebody with a pellet gun and get arrested

WNOX radio reports no official statement from Kiffin is planned, but he may comment on the situation after today's practice.

I expect indefinite suspensions pending the legal stuff.

I mean what really shows how dumb they were is that not only did they commit armed robbery but they tried to rob a bunch of freshmen/college or high school/seniors in a 11 year old Hyundai of some money. I mean seriously? There wasn't anything nicer to rob then a hyundai on cumberland? drive out to west knox and rob some rich old guy goin into a strip club, you know they go cash. dumb arses

I really don't care. Kick them off. I really was looking forward to their stellar careers, but if a freshman breaks team rules/The Law, they shouldn't have a chance to continue with the team. A lot of players on Illinois are given multiple chances, and those same players are the ones who continue to get stabbed, and be out in clubs where fights break out and "they had nothing to do with it..." yea right, drunk athletes at bars= no good for anybody except hood rat girls looking for a good night. Kick them off, and recruit some more explosive players, let these "thugs" go play for Florida or alabama Idc if they are good or not. Martez Wilson was supposed to be good for Illinois but one offense after another, and gets beat up, stabbed, and DUI. I don't care how good he is, one player (or 3) isn't above the good of the program.

I think the NCAA should share a lot of blame in these situations as they did away with the athletic dorms where coaches could monitor the players much more effectively. Let's face it, a lot of these kids come from dire circumstances at home and just don't have the proper guidance to stay out of trouble...coaches become secondary parents to try and teach these kids what they should already know...right from wrong. It's tough to watch 100+ kids 24/7.
