According to the incident report, the "gun" appears to have been a CO2 powered pellet gun.

Also it appears that Edwards and Richardson were the two who approached the victims car in black hoods and demanded with the pellet gun that they give them all the have got.

All three are charged with attempted armed robbery. The driver of the car they were in, a female was charged with attempted armed robery, simple possession of Schedule VI and possession of drug paraphenalia. She had a marijuana grinder in the car and a small bag of what appeared to be marijuana in her pocket.

I agree about getting the facts in order, but the longer UT takes to take action, the more this becomes a major issue for the school and the program. It could either make or break Kiffin as a coach depending on his response.

A strong statement in response to this will hush the naysayers and keep UT from becoming a SEC punchline. They do not want this to be the biggest issue surrounding the program going into the final stage of the season.

I know and I'm all for accuracy, but the original post made it seem like it was somehow better that the store wasn't being robbed. I just can't fathom how three people could be SO dense.....

Here is the test - I would like to see them kicked off the team if it means we lose all three of these upcoming games! This was not petty - this was felony offenses WITH A GUN! I have no compassion for them whatsoever.

That is no excuse. I've been around tons of dudes that grew up in rough neighborhoods that wouldn't do something this stupid when they have a free ride. Just idiotic. Now I've got to hear all this crap about my players from these Bama fans. Boy this irks me.

Kidding aside (and I'm just having some fun - lighten up) this would have happened whether the kid committed to Florida, Tennessee, or Montana State. A bad kid is a bad kid. Said differently, you can take the thug out of south florida, but you can never take the south florida out of the thug. Recruiting any of those guys is just playing russian roulette.
