These boys just really FD up if they indeed do get charged with armed robbery. I was a juror(spelling) on a case in my town where two guys robbed a ups guy at gun point. These guys got 30 years each. The only thing they will be playing is bball in the yard. Sucks that they made this stupid decision. As far as Lane having to discipline them. He wont have to. They are done.

Yep, said it a couple of times now. People are so ready to jump to conclusions. If they did something like armed robbery, no question they should be prosecuted and be removed from the team. However, people are ready to send them to Riverbend based on the word of one news report heard on the radio. Ridiculous.

The Police and UT Sports Admin are reporting it now as well. Still think its BS?

Guys I know your ticked about all this with the two players, and I hate to see anyone no matter what team mess their life up, but can anyone around knoxville help this poster?

Sorry to hear this, no matter what team they play for. It saddens me to see young men, who have the wonderful opportunity to get a college degree and potentially even have a lucrative NFL career throw it all away by making such unbelievably stupid decisions. They blew it all over a three way split of $50. Truly sad. Pray for these young men that this is not the beginning of wasted lives for them, that they learn from their terrible mistakes and get themselves turned around in the future.

I played college ball.....How did they get out of the dorm?...they have curfew checks and someone at the door....where did they get the gun?.....this doesnt make sense

Where there's a will, there's a way. I played college basketball and we had the same curfew checks/monitors. Not once did it prevent any of us from getting out to go to a bar/club/girlfriends.

It happens. Stupid, yes but not unheard of. But the biggest problem here is the gun and the decision that they somehow thought it was a good idea to rob someone.

WNOX radio just reported the car was a blue Prius. The victims were in parked vehicle.

2 black hoodies & a co2 pellet gun found in the car. 4 were arrested, unnamed female driving the vehicle.

Also found a pot grinder and bag of leafy substance in the car.
