Guys if this happened two years ago panic. But this is the sign of great things to come competition is getting better within the team and these players can't handle it. Go vols.

Pretty sure LWS and company have been telling us to expect this all along. Only one of these players is really worth anything to the team. I guess Meline could've eventually found his niche, though.

WTH? Janzen could help his family by finishing one more year and entering the draft. I don't know what all happened. Was that his brother arrested for murder?

It still sucks. Even though we're supposed to be on the 'up and up,' I still get a sick feeling every time i read stuff like this.

On the other hand, we won't have to worry about any more personal fouls from "launching" into a "defenseless" player. :crossfingers:

Freaking crap!!!

Well, LWS said back in December we should treat every one of Janzen's games as though it was his last. I guess it really was. :(

Probably. I put that on Kiffin. We took alot of WR's that year. Could have used a DT or LB. Hope the same thing doesn't happen with all of the DB's we just took in this class. Hopefully we can get them in to position to contribute somewhere on the team within the next 2 years or so.

Guys: Scholarship players who don't play, who bust, often transfer or quit--it's what happens. That is Askew and others.

So we lost our best secondary player, and a couple good recruits that were young. We must have sold our soul for the '98 championship.

Considering the depth problems we've had, no loss is really a good thing. That being said, I don't think these losses will be impossible to overcome.

Agree with this except for Janzen. Jury is out on his return.
