The first thing I did that morning after was pre-order a copy of that game.

...those were great times.

Alumni trip of a lifetime! Saw the Grand Canyon, rode over it in a Bell JetRanger. At the game we sat beside the Pride of the Southland Band... talk about getting jacked up! Watched Big Al Wilson come out of the locker room late for the second half. No way was that game gonna start again without him. Some of the guys said he tore up a wall locker before they could calm him down.

VHS? I've got it DVD and on my IPOD. Watch it a couple times a month. And right-you-are; Keith Jackson HATED Tennessee... didn't give us anything until it was way past obvious we were gonna send Bobby & boys back home empty. Good riddance to Jackson! John Ward called the most beautiful game of his gold-plated career!

Have our tickets and a stadium shot framed in my office. Hope we can get another one before I'm too old to go.

I watched the whole thing on my Perfection DVD. I forgot how much Keith J blathered on about himself at the end. That really made it less fun to watch.

noticed that yesterday when I was watching it. It really did take a lot away from the end of the game and stole a bit of UT's thunder. Another reminder though of how big a tool Bob Griese is too.
