Jancek interviewed for Vols DC?

The thread title was a bit deceptive and not really indicative of what the thread was about. I edited it to give others a better idea

I don't think it was deceptive at all!! It was exactly what the thread was about, Vols DC. I stated that I read on another site, so what was deceptive?

If that was him, I doubt this hire will ever happen. University leadership going for integrity as a high priority this go-round.

I am not indicating the thread is wrong, but whatever that leak was it was plugged up tight by Danny White. The reality is that NOBODY knows outside the inner circle what is going on. I for one like it. Leads to a lot of speculation, but it also has a lot of plausible deniability.

Agreed! Those two games were painful. Meltdowns in all 4 L's that year. The 2015 season should've been so much better...

Hindsight is 20/20. Shoop was a HUGE hire at the time. That season was just an unmitigated disaster. JG showed up on campus .......

I remember the high-powered offense going into a shell late in both of those games and not being able to pick up a single first down to run out the clock. The defense did what it did, but literally one first down would have likely won both of those games.

I also remember an offense that went scoreless and struggled to move the ball in the 2nd half of the OU game.

We got beat by them running the same plays and we didn’t do anything about it.
