Not sure who Chris Trapasso is, but he has Pearce as his #1 prospect. His latest article is on cbssports.com.

It's crazy we never heard anything related to character issues until after the season... I know it's been said that our previous QB threatened to hold out of the playoffs for more money, as well as others. I wonder if James Pearce Jr. was one of the other players?

I loved watching him wear the orange, he's who I'd watch at the snap of every play when he was on the field, but the chatter about his draft stock is perplexing.

I took that to mean other players around the country, not other players at Tennessee.
Could be wrong, but I don't think he was talking about anyone else at UT.

One of my favorite announcer responses of the year was when Pearce Jr. ran the 40 at the draft combine. First announcer " apparently James left his track shirt back at the hotel and will have to run in his hoodie". Second announcer after Pearce ran the 40 " he did not forget his track shirt, he just knew he needed a parachute to slow him down" lol

At what point will UT fans stop giving a **** about where our mercenaries get drafted? (not that JP is one, but....)

Just wondering.

Never. Because the higher they get drafted, the higher the chance that the next one will come to UT.
Better results on draft day equals better results on signing day.

Well some of me just sees a strong resemblance between Mr. Taylor and Mr. Pearce and I have been saying for a long time. Lt may have wrote the book but JPJ has certainly read it and is a student. And I don't know what this has to do with Hawkeye from M.A.S.H.
L.T.'s draft year sucked for qb's too. I can't remember a qb from that class.
