James Pearce Jr. arrested again

Women ain't got nothing to do with it. Especially in this situation. This "man" was angry for a long time. He would have went full metal jacket on Mother Teresa.
Kid has likely had every obstacle cleared for him his entire life. Bet he didn't hear "no" very often either. Kinda wonder how much of that factors into this sad scene?

Takes two to tango. No amount of behavioral therapy helps if only person in a volatile relationship attends.

Hard to imagine he doesn’t get this get out of jail card if he isn’t in his position. One can only hope he actually grows from this.
what's his position? Plenty of pro athletes hav been taken out by actions like this. it sounded to me like the people involved decided to drop the charges, meaning they reconsidered.

Probably a good time to point out that every boy needs to learn how to not to hurt people when they are upset. It's the baseline expectation for you when you're an adult.
I don't have any experience with it so I can't say for sure, but being in his position, being trained your entire life to meet adversity with maximum force and ferocity in order to be good at your job, has to be hard not to let it bleed into all aspects of your life. you see it with veterans all the time.

not an excuse, but it requires extra restraint and discipline that most of us don't need.

I am going to cheer for JP. I’m going to cheer that he:
1. Never does this again
2. Learns a respect for women that is worthy of praise
3. Learns a respect for the criminal justice system from police to courts that is to not only be respected but grateful to for a second chance
4. Is able to be a father that can pass those lessons on to his (future) sons and daughters
….
….
….
1,467. That he can be a good football player again

I stupidly defended JPJ prior to the draft and tried to pass off the off the field problems as just assault on his character.

This is his chance to get right and stay right. Nobody’s perfect. I wish him well in his career but hope he truly changes his behavior off the field.

I was always more of a Furio kinda guy......quiet and calm but can release prodigious violence when needed.

"You know there are WORSE things that can happen to you than cancer, right?"
They are all just horrible people except for maybe Melfi and some other side characters, but I did always like Johnny Sac. He's hilarious when he yells.
