I did not blame the victim. These high strung guys hang around even if the relationship is not the best. Most of the time they just take it out on the girl cause she's easy and handy. He might not care about a long term relationship. For whatever reason, he did take it out on her. Maybe she threatened to leave and he didn't like that.

WNBA player Rickea Jackson filed a petition for protection against her ex-boyfriend, Falcons player James Pearce Jr., saying she was "in fear of my life" and, if the court didn't intervene, she believed "James will kill me," according to court documents.

She also said Pearce told her he would give her "up to $75,000" to visit with him and "$200,000 to remain in a relationship with him" in the hours leading up to the Feb. 7 incident.

I didn’t hear that (doesn’t mean it isn’t true) but I did hear that he is disassociated and has abnormal interpersonal relationships and interactions. Almost like he couldn’t have a normal friendship with people.

A beautiful woman has been the downfall of many a man. They can sometimes push sanity to the brink. What a waste of God given talent.

Pearce, 22, has been charged with three felonies -- aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police and resisting an officer with violence to his or her person. A fourth arrest charge of felony aggravated stalking was changed to a misdemeanor.
