Why would he leave Penn St for Tennessee? I could understand him leaving for SC, but penn st is as good of a job as Tennessee, if not better.

If you're throwing out 80 million, throw it at Urban.

In the shape we are in now I'd take Jim Harbaugh after Michigan fires him. He's 90s Fulmer for the most part. Recruits very well, wins a lot but can't win the big game yet.

I know we are still pulling for JP to turn this bus around but in the event it does not work out why not go after Franklen? He won at Vanderbilt and is winning at Penn State. What do you boys think?

I'd be OK with the hire, but I don't think we'd win a bidding war with Penn State right now.

I want us to keep Pruitt but I really like Franklin. I think he’s one of the best in college football right now. And it doesn’t get much worse then the PR and NCAA ban penn state had after that fiasco.

This is why we keep getting the coaches like we have been. No one wants to go after a good coach just a bunch of hopeful that are living of someone else susses. Also, he did not rape anyone and remember no to long ago Tennessee was in the same situation.. Oh how we forget.

Throw the bank at Jim Schwartz

or roll the dice with the Pirate for a few years - at least we'd get some quality entertainment

or pray that Harrison Bailey is the second coming of Casey Clausen

At the time of Dooley's firing Franklin was brought up, but it was like we were too good to hire a Vandy coach.

If we are truly going to get a coach and are really serious about winning, leave everything in the past and go get Kiffin. We won’t even have to pay huge money and probably can make a contract that is truly in our favor for once.
