James Franklin

He's from PA. He has them up big. Why do you think he would ever think for 2 seconds about coming here and taking over this dumpster fire.

Why on earth would he ever leave Penn State? dream job up there and if he keeps winning he will be revered as JoPa was before a ped ruined it. Easier schedule too. Maybe his agent puts his name out to get a raise but no way in hell he is actually going anywhere. And even if he did, I am not sure I would want him here.

Please explain exactly how you think he did that? Inquiring minds want to know. Especially since, as I recall, he followed a protocol of what he could and could not say and do.

When he heard about the rape he contacted all the players involved before reporting it to the police. Evidence was destroyed and the players involved all had their story straight when interviewed by the police. Guess it was just a coincidence things that hardly ever happen in college rape cases happened in this one when a coach talked to all the players before the police did.

FTR, Joe Pa's run there was not ruined by a ped. It was robbed by Joe Pa "looking the other way" while a ped was raping little boys. Joe Pa is 100% deserving of his own shame. He'll always be remembered as a coward or worse, regardless of his on field success.

Not if he keeps Shoop

If you noticed, we have been in a nickel since Butch arrived on campus. I really do not believe that you have seen the real Bob Shoop. He loves to blitz and play pressure defense. Plus, we are decimated with injuries on defense. I would like to give Shoop a chance to see what he can do without Butch tying his hands behind his back.

If you believe that he truly told everything he knew and did so when he should have, then no level of explaining from me will help you friend.

That does sound like collusion of the coach with the players to obstruct justice. I wonder why he wasn't charged and convicted along with the perps.

I don't "truly believe" anything. Why would you assume that? The reports I read after the hoopla died said he followed protocol. If he didn't, then Vandy admin covered for him. And, as linked in a thread above he admitted his collusion in obstructing justice.

Can’t believe anybody would want that ass to be UTs coach....ever. What’s wrong with you people?

So you don't like Winning Football games?

I fully believe some fans wouldn't take Nick Saban if he wanted to leave Alabama for Tennessee.
