I have pride. Would rather lose than have Petrino, Kiffin, or Franklin at UT. Also Mullins high pitched voice rubbed me the wrong way.

And he may get a chance to take it to Saban in the playoffs. I would love to have him at Tn. and if the money was right I believe he would come to Tn.

Guys we just need to accept the fact that we are not going to get a good coach. Thats just the way it is. Tennessee has fallen right back into the cellar of the East. We will not be able to lure a great coach here. Uts going to be another mid level, Butch Jones type of hire.

Just forget about Gruden, Kelly, Franklin or any other top level guys. We are just an average to below average football program. We are Tennessee.

The guy is obviously a great coach but he's not coming to Knoxville ever, unless we schedule PSU.

If your going to accept it you become it. If the adminstation trots out a weak coach on the cheap I promise you they will see the error of the ways quickly. When donors stop giving and the arses aren't in the seats. If that is what it takes to make the powers that be change their tune so be it. I personally hope your wrong, it won't be pretty this time if your right. Tennessee fans are what make Tennessee a great revenue producer. If the administration jilts the fans with a uninspiring hire the coffin will be nailed for at least 10 years. But I choose to remain optimistic until it's official either way. GBO!!!!

Agreed. He is very much in play and definitely a potential candidate. Anyone saying there is no shot has absolutely no clue what they are talking about and just say it to fill up space.He is very much in play and very possible that he will be our next HC. I'm not saying he will be but there is very much high mutual interest from both sides.
