James Franklin is a joke!

In 2012, he took a team chocked full of seniors on both sides of the ball, that he did not even recruit, and beat 2 teams with a winning record (both 7-5). He has yet to prove anything except that he has no class.

I think it's funny, and more power to him. Yeah, he's a punk, but he's also not scared of any team and that sort of thing will rub off on his players. Not my style but it works sometimes.

I dunno about him being a joke; he did beat that ass...

Ole Miss & UNC State are the only teams that I can remember that made bowl games, after Vandy beat them.

Seems to me that Vandy is beating up on lesser teams.

They lost to USC, NorthWestern, Florida, UGA, and all of those teams had winning seasons and bowl games.

Presbyterian, Missouri, Auburn, U. Mass, kentucky, ole Miss & Wake Forest aren't exactly quality wins.

I predict that in a year from now, Franklin will leave Vandy. He knows that his soft schedule will not last forever and once he starts to post losing seasons, it will be unlikely that he will get a better coaching job. So, if he wants a better job, such as Iowa, Arizona, etc, then he better leave Vandy on a high note and not leave on a losing season.

here's what franklin has done.

he's made tennessee actually take vanderbilt seriously.

not in a fake way but in a, "hey, we just stole one of vandy's recruits......boom" kind of way.

It's pretty funny and pathetic all at the same time. He should have made a joke about Tennessee, at least he has some merit there. to push Saban's buttons right after he won his 3rd NC in 4 years is ignorant

He has done a better job at Vandy than most could.

He beat us. Get off his nuts.

It makes our fanbase sound foolish and nothing but sour grapes.
