James Franklin at GHS today

Why are you doing this? This thread was dead, as it should have been days ago. I'll be happy to respond, however.

First, I've been at a Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee (their biggest game of the year by far), in which, there were no more than 10,000 people. The Auburn game was actually an improvement. But please, continue to be a dick.

Secondly, I'm not a 'Franklin Fluffer' as you called me. It's called logic, try it out sometime. Whether you like Vanderbilt or not, does not matter in this case. He has generated lots of interest for the program, and that is commendable considering the uphill battle he has had since the departure of Johnson. I was the first to celebrate our OT win over Vandy last year, because I have many Vandy friends that would shove it in my face. But please, give me a few more comments to laugh at---the above posts actually made my day. Cheers!

This.

Stop hating on the guy because of your jealousy in what he is doing at Vanderbilt. Seriously, it's almost like this board is entirely made up of stoner college freshman that were cut from their freshman team.

Is it that? Or is it is because you "have more degrees than we have teeth"? Serious question.

You continue to engage me after I have stated that I apologized many times. Let it go. Stop being an ass, just to be an ass.

Insults levied against you are the results of your direct superior complex to anyone who doesn't agree with you per se. I.e if someone doesn't like particular said statement in question they must be a.) uneducated toothless hacks punching on an outdated keyboard or b.) Unathletic stoned out pottheads tyoing from their dorm rooms.

And yes that is me, I am Bill Dance.

Let's see, am I the one calling people dicks and idiots at every turn when someone disagrees with me? Uh, no. As Scotty's Flat Top said, it's obvious who the condescending, obtuse jackass is here.

You provided nothing. Nothing but fluff like some of the other Franklin Fluffers. utvolpj asked you what Franklin has done similiar to Pearl in accomplishments and you came back with nothing. Nothing but, "Hey, I can see Franklin finishing in the Top 25 sooner rather than later." Well stop the damn presses. Give that guy a cookie. Finishing in the Top 25 was expected by the time Pearl left. Again, Franklin hasn't and won't accomplish 1/20 of what Pearl did at UT. I'll bet you anything you want on that. No SEC East titles, no SEC titles, no BCS bowls, no top 10 ranking and absolutely no number 1 ranking.

Keep on fluffing Franklin though. That is one thing you are good at.

Vanderbilt is 4-4. They could easily go 8-4, and they may have a shot against Tennessee. Show me the picture from the Vandy game this year, then we will talk. Until then, let this thread die for Christ's sake.

And please, take the time and look up the past posts in the thread before posting. Lynx first brought up the comparison to Pearl and that's where it ended. I do not think Pearl's accomplishments pale in comparison to Franklin or that Franklin will ever be able to win a SECCG.

Yeah, they're 4-4 after beating Presbyterian, Mizzou whose QB went down in the 1st qtr, a horrible Auburn team and UMASS. A real murderer's row. They have one of the easiest SEC schedules of anyone. They get Ole Miss and Auburn from the West and avoid LSU, Miss St and Bama. Give UT their schedule and they'd be 4-4 too at worst.

I'll be sure and post a pic from the UT-Vandy game. It'll be 75% orange like it always is every other year where it becomes Neyland West.

I read the posts plenty. Again, Franklin won't accomplish 1/20 of what Pearl accomplished. I'll bet anyone anything on that. If you wanted the thread to die, maybe you shouldn't have started it in the first place.

Dude, at this point you're arguing with yourself. Let it go.

James Franklin stopped by Gallatin High School this morning. I happened to be in the school for a meeting, and noticed him in the hallway. I stopped to ask him what was up, yada yada yada. IN short, he was there to see one of the players at Gallatin: Darian Banks. I didn't see his info on the board, so I thought I would pass it along.

FWIW, Franklin was extremely nice, and very intelligent in his comments. I was impressed to be honest.

:hi:[/QUOTE

I don't think Darian has the grades to make it into Vanderbilt. His attitude is questionable, somewhat lackidascal and show boating, doesn't seem to be very focused or caring.

It depends on what you define as "enthusiasm". You mean enthusiasm to about 12 fans? Then I'd agree. Or do you mean enthusiasm shown by the student section right before the Vandy-Auburn game where Vandy was actually favored by over a TD in a SEC game because Auburn sucks so bad? Even when Auburn completely blows, they still had as many fans as Vandy had at the game.

Here, I'll help you out. That gaping hole in the pic you should see is the student section right before the game. Now that is enthusiasm!

And finish in the Top 25? LMAO. Tell us some more good stories. Look, it's another Franklin Fluffer.

Kind of misleading when it is an 11 am game against a bad team. But anyway by mid way through the first, the student section was full

I know, that's why I was surprised to see him at GHS. I didn't think Darian had the necessary grades, but I was hoping I was wrong.
