James Bryant on remaining Vol prospects

Dooley laughs in the face of signing limits. :eek:lol:

Seriously, I enjoy that we are cleaning up right now but how the hell are we going to sign all of these kids.

We can sign 29...enroll 26 backcounting 1 from last year and sign and place 3...we have 25 as of right now and when we get Tiny, Dawson, Maggit, and either Wright or Jernigan...that will equal 29... makes sense to me. The only question is which 3 or going to be sign and place?

The one thing that Gabe said in his interview on scout at least how I took it is mom does not like the barn shes all Vol. He also seemed to think C.C.S. is the man.

Not worried @ Dooley.

What bothers me is that the UTAD has apparently swapped from standalone faxes and are using Volnation servers to receive faxes tomorrow. That's what my sources are saying. :whistling:

You're welcome to go somewhere else and pay :)

Very correct and who would do this? Someone academically qualified for scholly or someone of little need next year?

I would hate to be a SP

I love Tino and would gladly welcome him in this class but if his paper doesn't come across the fax tomorrow I would not be the least bit surprised.

I wonder what all the longtime committed 3 stars are thinking right now. I'm betting there is at least a little discomfort.

Could be a combination of both....we might have 1 or 2 that academically dont qualify which would be a sign and place...or we might ask 1 or 2 that qualify but dont need them quite yet to greyshirt. Either way Dooley will get it done and have the right pieces in place come kickoff in September.

I've given up trying to figure Wright out. If we get him I'll be surprised but I've got zero expectations.

If we land three or four of those five/six remaining on the board than Dooley & Co. will have kicked ass. To have a class like this after the poor years we have had on the field is more the encouraging and puts the lie to all the cranks who say it's too hard to recruit at Tennessee. Really? :D

With Fulmer recruiting players who were at risk of getting qualified for U.T., I thought that Dooley did his homework and didn't go after the one's who he didn't feel would qualify.
If this is true, then who in the world do we expect to sign and place??? I thought Dooley recruited students also...

I love it!!! It is snowing like crazy outside, I am probably going to get a "snow day" from work tomorrow, and I get to "work" from home and watch all these recruits come in. I can't believe we are in the spot we're in today going back about 56 weeks ago.

GBO!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to have Dawson, mostly because I don't know what is actually appealing about UK. I mean, seriously. If he likes getting his @ss handed to him each fall, regardless of how bad WE are, then I say go for it. Nothing but disappointment in the cards there...

Couldn't agree more. Why in the world would he seriously consider going there? I know it is his home state school, but come on!!!!!!!!!! They have one really good year every 20 years or so, if that. He'd slip into oblivion.
