According to the UT SID's office Ted Meline is currently on campus taking classes and is still a member of the UT Football Team.

Let him transfer, I like the kid but we have depth there. It will free up some room for another spot?

Another fan making comments we don't need right now. A body that has been in the system a year and adds depth ANYWHERE is welcome and needed. We wouldn't even be able to fill his scholarship spot until the 2012 recruiting class anyway so who does this benefit? Please keep your ignorant comments to yourself and go cheer for someone else if your gonna be a Debbie Downer around here. Meline could end up being a great slot back and return man this upcoming year and in the future. You haven't seen the kid on the field yet, let's let him drop a few passes before we castrate him please.

I'd hoped Ted would find a place to be more effective before now. I was stoked when he decided to come to UT. I hope he contributes.

I predict that Meline will be back at WR come fall.

We are bringing in enough DB's to be able to move him back to WR imo.

Not every freshman or sophmore makes an impact,give him time its a big jump when you go from H.S. to college!

Look at oku all the hype with his recruitment and he never made a big splash,but if just maybe he had worked a little harder and put his ego aside he might have made all SEC in 11'

TOO many student athletes that have (STARS) Beside their name coming out of H.S. think their work is done,ie "The i have arrived syndrome"

But i dont work that way, when you arrive its time to go to work and do your job to the fullest!

I hope T meline makes his splash in 11'

LOL Desean Jackson was one heckuva returner. He departed holding Pac-10 records for punts returned for a touchdown both in a season (four), and in a career (six).'

Returning those kicks cut into his focus at WR though.
