I wish him the very best. It's a shame he couldn't have stayed at UT and out of trouble.

I think he could be a 1st day pick with a good combine. Remember James was a HS AA and he's still a great player. He a 3rd-4th rounder IMO.
He has character issues and only had 300 yards receiving this guy will go 7th round or not at all. They wont take a chance on a guy that early. They will definitely have a report on this guy and see all the trouble he has been in. In his case the character issues and having not played D1 football in years will definitely knock him back to very late or not taken at all.

I think he had a lot of potential, but he's 24 years old and was third on his team in receiving. With the sketchy past I don't know why a team would waste a draft pick on him.

It depends more on the interviews he conducts and the combine numbers he puts up. I guess I should have said he could be a 3rd-4th rounder. I would say 6th-7th is more reasonable.

With his storied past I as well think he will go late if at all becasue he is not a threat on the field, only to society

I noticed Kenny Philips on that list from Miami also. He should make someone a really good safety. Tennessee had a good shot at recruiting him at the time they got Morley. If he had known how bad Miami would be right now he might have been a Vol.

I wish James all the best, but I wish he has stayed in school and gotten his degree. The odds are stacked against him in the League. He wont get drafted, why would they? There are too many proven guys without the character question mark. He had a ton of potential, but my fear is that his ship has sailed. I feel for him and I wish him the best.

yea that was Trooper's first really big year. Getting into Miami and snagging a player like Morley was in HS was huge for us then. Too bad it hasn't really played out. KP will really shore up someone's secondary next year though. (anxiously awaiting the "D-Mo will shore up ours" post:whistling:)

Nuts - the guy couldn't even become a huge playmaker at CN... stay another year and get things together and shake more rust off.
