I thought Jalen was every bit as good as, even better than Fournette last year while being burdened with running behind the worst OL in college football. Hurd's just gonna kill it this year if our OL just gets within earshot of average. And he can stay fresh with another NFL-caliber RB coming in to give him a rest. Would love to see Jalen with 16-18 carries a game, Alvin with 12 -15 and see what happens.

Exactly, the disparity in the numbers between Fournette and Jalen last year can be 98.4% contributed to our inept OL play. This year the beast will be truly revealed.

I really hope that you are correct. The o-line can only be better this year......but how much? And will it be enough?

A good point I took away from the O&W game was when Butch was handing out awards. Jashon Robertson got hardest worker in the weight room and most improved. Forget running off tackle, let this big fella blow some holes open in the middle for Hurd.

According to CBJ at a recent speaking engagement in Hendersonville, Hurd is doing great and actually is "over 240 lbs." Let that sink in for a minute, he praised Malone as well.
