Jalen Hurd "lower extremity inury" Per Butch Jones.

CBJ has no reason to hide benching Hurd if that's what actually happened. If he says he was hurt then he was hurt.

When he says he has a lower extremity injury, what he really means is he shoved his foot so far up Hurd's ass after that play that Hurd is now questionable for next week.

I kinda had the feeling that Kamara was getting more touches in this game due to the facts he's from Georgia and this game meant a lot to him. I'm probably wrong, but it did cross my mind

Hopefully something minor. I doubt he was being punished for fumbling the ball considering he played after and even caught a TD pass. Especially on that last drive to run out the clock we could have used his power. If he were able to play he would have been in there.

Hurd is fine. Butch and his injury reports are comical. Aka jrm was ready to go. Anybody could see in Ohio game he's got a pretty major injury

It has been a while but I seem to recall that when I pulled one the training staff in checking on and treating a pulled groin involved dropping my trousers. I don't think they are likely to show that on the broadcast. I am hoping it isn't a groin injury/ painful and slow to heal.

Hey peyton how's retirement

So, you're saying Jones is lying about this? Why would Hurd be benched after scoring a TD?

I am starting to believe Butch might lie rather than tell a reporter It is none of his damn business. That lower extremity injury did not stop Hurd from running into Jenning's celebration pile, and he wasn't limping one bit.

I would much sooner buy the series of plays DeBord wanted to go with were designed for Kamara. But if Hurd was hurting, what Butch said about it did not really make much sense with what we were seeing.

No, there is more to it. And it is none of our damn business.

We've seen Hurd be hot with opposing players this season, most of which was mild, so it could have been something the coaches caught that was never flagged.

On the the third play of the second half, a UGA player slams Jalen's head into the ground. I think that play is where the injury occurred. IMHO

Hurd is fine if you ask me. He WAS in on the kickoff return that led to the hail mary and he was also in the offensive huddle for the Hail Mary (Just not in the actual play). Clear to see if you DVRd the game though.

He could have said something to one of the coach's or something like that. Or could be nothing. Doubt we ever know what really happened.

My opinion. Concussion, he kept grabbing at his head after big hits, like he got his bell rung. He took off a quarter to see if it passed and it did. Butch said lower extremity to throw off the SEC hounds who would certainly be fine with Hurd not playing against A&M, especially if he had said Hurd sat out due to concerns about a concussion.

Is this Hurd's second or third concussion since being here? Vandy his freshman year and yesterday. Any others?

There is no point in CBJ airing out behavioral issues on live TV. I'd rather he lie and publicly say it's an injury and deal with it in house.
