Did anyone pay attention to Ty Isaac number 29 for USC in there bowl game? He's 6'3 225 bout the same size of hurd and the commentators were loving him. He was trucking people and the calling the safetys hitting him in the knees a business decision on their part believe it was Kirk Herbstreit that said it. I feel hurd will be the same thing for us next year. Cant wait to see him go beast mode.

Issac is a good comparison to Hurd. I think Hurd is even more talented than Issac was coming out of HS though.

Smokescreen. Haven't you been reading? This kid'll be a safety or DE as soon as the coaches come to their senses and put a 5'9" RB in there. Don't be fooled 5589....

No, he's implying that you pay a price when hitting a running back low who is that big and has a full head of steam coming at you. It's just what has to be done to get him down, hence a business decision.

That term is also used a lot with guys like fullbacks and tight ends cut blocking big d-linemen. It gets the job done but you might ring your bell and get a 315 lb body falling on top of you.

I disagree. It is much safer going low on a big man than a smaller one. I would definitely go low on Hurd (making a calculated business decision) than trying to go high.

Haha. Good one. Assuming this is sarcastic as hell. IMO, he is so tall he should quit football altogether and become a volunteer fireman working to help get citizens' stuck cats out of trees. Damn that kid is tall....

Hurd reminds me of the type of player TN was accustom to landing when we were competing for championships.
