Jalen Hurd comparison

Barry Sanders.

Barry Sanders was my favorite back of all time, if he had a offensive line to run behind at Detroit he would have all sorts of records, but he did most on his own....
Great running back....

Hurd will make a name for himself, hardworker....:hi:

to be completely unfair, and waay to early to speculate...here goes.

after seein' jamal lewis interview got me ta thinkin. despite the fact jamal would run somebody over and was freakishly big, is it possible theres a comparison here? i mean jmal was fast as crap and could break through a pile. also when he sprinted ran upright.

the obvious comparison is to dickerson tho.

jalen, heres to you making s name for yourself young man!! good luck

Jamal Lewis had a similar size/speed combination.

This is true but Jamal Lewis was right at 6'0" tall. He was more in that prototypical back mold much like LF. I was referring to backs who were tall and also weighed 225+ with game changing speed.

Oh ok. Thought it was a weight/speed reference, in which case I nearly used Knile Davis as an example as well, but again, he is about 6' as well.

As far as weight/speed combo goes Ricky Williams was the shyt. Still my favorite college back of all time.

Eddie George was 6'3" and about 240ish so size wise it's a good comparison. Although Eddie didn't have the speed, he was a bruiser. Marcus Allen would be another comparison that comes to mind. But, only in frame and style of runner.

Hurd may just be a freak of nature because he has this frame but runs like a deer. This is highly unusual and I personally can't wait to see him on the field in Orange.

I say Jalen Hurd in time will create his own legacy. Then the next RB we sign with similar attributes i.e. size,speed,weight......etc......etc. We will be askng ourselves is he the next "JALEN HURD." Its the circle of life! GBO

He has stated that he weighs 232. I think that is a good weight for him. However, a number of running backs weigh 240 to 265. I think the S&C coach will get him where he needs to be.

What rbs weigh 265?? The Bus was only 250

His frame looks like a mix between little man and Jamal but I hope he can have a big impact like they did their freshman seasons.

can I make a hybrid??

Eddie George/Arian Foster

Pretty good combination minus the fumbles

So one RB in history?

you said a # of rbs

I didn't say anything. That wasn't my OP. You asked what RB weighed 265 and I gave you an answer. But since you want to go there Craig "ironhead" Heyward went about 260.

I understand he's been spending a lot of time at the local Gold's Gym.
