For the love of all, can you guys not understand that TP is trolling you??? Get a grip and relax. This deal has been handled internally and is nothing newsworthy. Let the first person who never had a beer underage throw the first stone.

Didn't drink my first beer until I was in my late twenties due to watching every male of fathers side of my family live and die with alcoholism.(And then people on this site have arguments over pot, like that causes a 6 figure death toll every year)...

I then never drank another one because it was one of the more fowl tasting things I have ever consumed.

With that said anyone getting bent out of shape over a college student drinking slightly underage is a moron. It is college, that is what they do. Next thing you know people will start condemning the kid for sleeping with a different girl every night of the week.

When if they were a star player in a football run town they probably couldn't handle themselves half as good as Hurd has done since arriving on campus.

FWIW, Florida's QB Treon Harris is back in the news after being cited for driving without a license. Two other passengers were in the car- Jalen Tabor and J.C. Jackson. According to UPD, a stong odor of Marijuana was eminating from the car (which does not belong to Harris) and two bags were found, each appearing to contain a small amount of mj. Sice the car did not belong to any of the occupants, UPD did not charge the three with possession. UF released the following statement Friday afternoon: "We are aware of the incident and are dealing with it internally and their bowl status hasn't changed." .......

I didnt realize the University of Tennessee's goal was to create christians. Last time i checked it was a state school and therefore state funded. So im pretty sure theres this little thing called seperation of church and state. I respect your religious beliefs but please dont act like they are shared, or should be shared by everyone.

And oh so many times I hung with pat summits lady vols. although, they just liked to take shots. Kids will be kids. Not saying it's right or wrong. If it doesn't affect us personally then we can't pass judgement or force our opinion on someone else. Kids will be kids. Pretty sure the majority have had some sort of beverage or worst before 21.
