Didn't Tommy Thigpen call him the best linebacker prospect in the country of Germany? Interesting that it only took a few starts for the coaching staff to completely switch his position.
Jakob Johnson looks like an almost ideal fit in the TE/H-back position that was utilized in the bowl game. I look for him to play a lot of snaps in that role this season which is really exciting.
And that was Stocstil some, if I remember correctly. I think Johnson will take the same role as Stocstil.
Johnson is also a very good special teams player.
You obviously weren't paying attention last year. Alex Ellis was the best blocker on the team. Will be interesting to see how the Wolf brothers do replacing Ellis' blocking in the run game.

If it helps.. Doesn't make it reality. When Helm transferred, I cited it was because Ellis outplayed him...if you're still on the narrative that I disrespected him in some way.
