Actually the O-lineman got punked. Anytime you start swinging on someone and they are still walking towards you saying "really", you pretty much are being told you are weak and that was nothing.
They're wearing helmets and pads. Obviously none of those blows are going to do any damage. I don't see how you think the O-Lineman got "punked." He was throwing punches, being the aggressor, challenging Smith to fight. All Smith could do is stand there and NOT fight back. I don't care what he was mouthing, Smith is the one that looked like the punk.
Not really, he is trying to make a roster spot. He wasnt going to swing period. Big man got punked, he just let a un-drafted player get under his skin. He was whining the whole time. Ask James Stone, Smith would have swung if he knew it wouldn't have cost him.
I don't see how you say he got his ass beat then, they are wearing helmets and pads.
???
What does Smith fighting back have to do with him making a roster spot? If anything I would think showing that he has the fight in him would actually help his chances rather than hurt them.
I meant in terms of how many punches the O lineman got in on Smith VS how many Smith got in on him.
I don't know how you can say Smith got punked, or that he's soft, from that. Did people say Anderson Silva was soft when he was tapping his own chin after someone landed a shot on him, and he dropped his hands and invited them to hit him again? No. Because anyone that can stand there and eat your best shot(s) and not be phased by it is actually punking you out. It didn't show weakness to me. It showed the proper amount of respect for a veteran, while at the same time saying I'm not going to back down from anyone, and you can give me your best shot and I'll walk through that weak ****. If he was turning his back, trying to get away, or cowering in some way, sure you could say he got punked. In my opinion, you can't say that here.
