The marijuana was in the girl's pocket, not being smoked, and noone on this board knows why he was suspended for the Memphis game.

Is it so hard for people to stick to the facts?

C'Mon Man! Really?? If you really believe that Janzen was just in the wrong place at the wrong time then you are choosing to not see what is in front of you. If you want to talk about facts, then here. Janzen was in the car with two people who committed armed robbery. He may have been released but coming just a week after being suspended is automatically two strikes.

And it has been known why he was out for the Memphis game... A FAILED DRUG TEST. It was reported from just about every major news outlet and I know you can't always believe everything you read but no one ever denied it.

I havent turned my back on him. Really i could care less. Fyi, it has been "reported" ( not the best source) that he failed a drug test! That is what prompted my question!

The "last failed test" was never confirmed, and was actually denied by Kiffin.

He gets a strike for being with 2 teammates who ended up being idiots? wow.

I've been in a vehicle with someone carrying drugs without my knowledge, and found out after the fact. Crazily enough, those drugs never ended up being consumed by me.

The failed drug test was never, ever confirmed. Supply a link (other than "reporters" saying their "source" said it was a failed drug test) if it was and I'll be more than glad to admit I was wrong. It shouldn't be hard since "every major news outlet" reported it.

You really shouldn't put so much trust in Jimmy Hyams.

Man thank you! The same people who bash Hyams are now trusting on his every word. Which one is it??? "Well Hyams and Chris Low reported it...so it has to be true." Hyams and Chris Low have as much access to the truth regarding this university as we do. Hell, Chris Low was the one who broke that Butch Davis would be our next coach.

I want UT to beat Kentucky as badly as anyone and I know they could use JJ. I do think that CLK should suspend him for this game and the bowl game to teach him a valuable lesson. Letting him play now only shows future players and recruit's parents that if you play well, then you are above the rules.

all charges dropped, no curfew broken...He did not break any rules that I'm aware of.

Someone doesnt have thier facts straight.

I never heard Kiffin deny anything about Janzen. All I recall him ever saying was that there was an issue that they were dealing with internally regarding his suspension from the Memphis game. If he did deny it then I stand corrected, but I'm not sure if he would confirm a failed drug test anyway.

Either way, with the severity of the crime that was committed and the fact that he was "with" them when it happened makes him at least guilty by association. And for that I think he should be out for the rest of the season.

Don't get me wrong guys, I would love to see Janzen play and we could sure use him. But in this case Kiffin has to make a stand. No one is bigger than the program and those couple weeks for Janzen doesn't look good for him.

Not only that, but Janzen hasn't even practiced with the team or participated in any team activities since the South Carolina game, or the week right after. That's almost a month away.

Funny, the law doesn't seem to agree with you.
