I'm hoping for Chuck to show up at the 5PM new conference but I would love to get Jackie over at Oklahoma if he doesn't show.

Hopefully the DL hire has triplet sons who are 5* DL juniors.

And he can coach, too.

Interesting last question during the news coference when asked about the DL coach vacancy. Dooley was like. "Yeh, i know Chuck, great person, good coach, great player" have no time frame when it comes to filling that position. So, i think he'll let CJW decide a bit more. I'm thinking maybe Chuck is just going to go back to radio and his mini camp down there in Atlanta.

I am wondering if Chuck Smith is still negotiating salary and taking care of some contractual obligations he has to fulfill, not just the Jets. I would be surprised if he doesn't end up in Knoxville. I would say Lance Thompson is certainly due a raise, as is Chaney. So how high would CDD want to go salary wise with Smith. The DC would be the highest paid, I would say Thompson has earned his, so how high do you go with Smith. Any idea what Justin Wilcox will earn in Knoxville?

FYI, don't think Shipp would come anyway. He is currently the defensive line coach for the Oklahoma Sooners football team. He has been on the Sooners' coaching staff since the arrival of Bob Stoops in 1999. He played high school football in Stillwater, Oklahoma where he was raised. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma.
