Jack Daniels vs George Dickel

Dickel is alright, Jack Daniels is rotgut, you might as well buy a half gallon of Ten High and save a few bucks for the same experience.

Dickel. Especially Barrel Select. The 12 is OK, though. The only Jack I like is Gentleman J.

I'm trying to get away from hard liquor, though.

has anyone had Jefferson's Aged At Sea?

Yes, it is very smooth. I could taste a hint of salt which turned me off to it.

Not worth the price. Be much better off with a bottle of Blanton's or Rock Hill Farms IMO

Blanton's Single-Barrel Bourbon Whiskey. The best.

Crown Royal Reserve and XO are very good. XR is interesting but not worth the money. Of course these are not char-barreled whiskey's.
Crown does have a char-barreled whiskey called Crown Black but, more than one shot and you will get one of the worst headaches you will ever have.

If you prefer char-barreled whiskey's, a few others I have not seen mentioned are;
Wild Turkey's Rare Breed
1792

The previously mentioned Makers Mark and Four Roses (all 4) are very good.

Jack is like drinking motor oil. Just say NO!

Which do you prefer and how do you prefer your whiskey? Just picked up a bottle of Dickel No 12 and have to say I really enjoy it.
Dickel white label with Sun-drop is all I use to drink.I guess having to smell JD every morning just turned me off from it
