Not condoning, just speculating on what may have caused JJ to do something this stupid.

Players are told that we are righting the ship and championships are right around the corner at XYZ University during recruiting. It probably is frustratimg when that doesn’t happen. I️ know how frustrating it has been as a fan, I️ can’t imagine what it must feel like as a player.

There will be a lot of repercussions over his dismissal. What a mess! A top 5 coach may not want to come to a program this bad. A lot of recruits who committed to UT will probably decomit from UT and go somewhere else.And our current players may want to go to another school during the off season. What a complete mess? No top 5 splashy coach for UT anytime soon.

Yeah...but that doesn't give him a license to act out. Everyone gets frustrated. He is the only one getting himself ejected from the team.

The way Butch would pitch fits, it looked like JJ learned it from watch him.

Poor leadership but still leadership. Sometimes the leader can have a bad influence on a team member. I've never been a big fan of cheating to win. I have cheated to win, but that was a friendly card game. Only because I didn't get caught. I've since been told it was a bad idea. Even at a family reunion it's best not to cheat at cards.

Agreed. It cost him his career at Ut, more than likely. I️ just think it is unfair to not at least try and understand the root cause of his tirade. Whether that be his own actions leading to the coaches telling him he would not be playing in the Vandy game or was it truly how he felt about the coaches and why?

Probably will never know, but it is only fair to assess his opinion as opposed to chastise him for his poor choice of words.

The message may have been spot on, but the delivery was wayyyyy off base. Hopefully he will learn his lesson through this and grow from it.

We may never know all the whys, but I feel his video gave a true representation of how he feels. I don't think he held anything back.

These kids today don't realize there is a fine line between capturing a moment and evidence. He didn't think releasing that video would get him dismissed. He was wrong.

Has he taken it down? Or did he lie about that?

Fans be prepared when the next coach, no matter who it is, comes in and starts running kids off left and right.
No coach in his right mind will allow a player to pull stuff like this.

He never had an offer. That's not how this works. People not affiliated with the university reached out to him to gauge interest. He didn't have interest, end of story. Currie never talked to him nor his agent. No one affiliated with UT AD offered him anything.

Well I didnt see the video, but they do allow alot of things -- take Mayfield as example -- punishment not starting --oh big deal - he comes in for the 2nd series

Good thing no one has ever murdered anyone while being on the team. Some of u all would be fighting to reinstate them .

AK and JK. They are both better suited for Butch's offense. When a RB like JH isn't right for your offense, you have to figure out a way to make it fit him. JH was a beast that followed bad advice. Just because someone gives you bad advice that doesn't mean you have to follow it. How many times have you blown off good advice? As soon as you get bad advice, you're all over it. Me too.

Somebody tells you to go to church more and you get all "Mind your business.", if they tell you to go to the Casino more often, you're like, "I'm in.".

"Would not consider", seems more accurate than "turns down".
