J Jennings Dismissed from UT

2 points.

1. You dont know what happened.
2. The conduct displayed by JJ should not be encouraged.

Those are points that I wouldn't argue but the punishment shouldn't be dismissal due to the circumstances around this football team. He's an emotional teenager. Help get the right football staff to teach the young man instead of trying to get back at him.

No, it's disappointing that we have an adminstration by all accounts that seems to be fumbling the ball on this hire. Gruden was always a wish. Remember, Currie was part of The Fulmer firing as assistant AD

Can you provide proof that he is "fumbling" this hire?

So you think this has no possible I’ll effect on luring a coach? I think it helps show what weak leadership we have and will make said prospective coach look elsewhere.

No, i dont think any prospective coach will give this any thought at all.

Thought this was already covered?

Everyone in this country has the right to freedom of speech.

Not necessarily I agree with how he did it but he simply gave his honest opinion on how he felt about UT’s current HC situation. Imagine playing for Butch who’s more than likely not kept promises or coached his players up to their potential level? Would you be frustrated too?

If you want to punish the kid, that’s totally understandable but to dismiss him after putting his heart & soul into this team over being frustrated, that’s where it’s ridiculous.

I mostly agree with your posts butchna but I disagree with your thinking on this subject.

This isnt the first time JJ has been in trouble. We also dont know what happened behind the scenes. I know one thing, when i need to pick a side, i will choose the side that doesnt conduct themselves like JJ did, 100% of the time.

If I were JJ, I would distance myself as far away from Tennessee as possible. He shouldn't come back here regardless of who the coach is next year. I hope JJ finds another team and lights it up. Wish him nothing but the best.

JJ got exactly what he deserved. An undisciplined foul mouthed child has no place here. Maybe he can go to OU.
